We enjoyed our stay it was close to everything. Sad that the pool wasnt open yet, but it didnt effect our stay at all. Easy access to the beach. And 6 mins away from a nearby waterpark perfect for kids to 12, and it was at the beach as well. Very close to piñones for local delicious food, and close to the airport.

I like the cleanliness of the unit and the building. The beach access is great. The con’s you have to pay beach chair and umbrella rentals every day, pool under construction, there’s only a small deli type restaurant in the building. Overall the stay in the unit was good! Ac, fridge, mini kitchen, microwave , tv with great tv service and, washer and dryer machine (available for a fee) The host answered timely and he had the courtesy to send us recommendations to visit and a phone call to confirm arrival on the check in date.

The location is perfect because the property includes a large private beach area. Unfortunately there are no active amenities such a pool, bar and any other entertainment in case you want to stay in it. All these mentioned things are extremely important for a relaxed time or day.

Roaches and ants in the room. No blankets, only sheets on the bed. They made me check in an hour later, which wouldn’t have mattered if it was a nicer place, but the room looked barely cleaned. The building and rooms are outdated and desperately need a renovation. No deadbolts on the door, only a Schlage lock. Getting out of the building was difficult; the floor plans are hard to follow and the only way I could find an exit was through the stairwell. This feels more like staying at an elderly relatives apartment complex than it does a hotel. The only redeeming factor was the location and access to the beach. I would strongly advise against staying here.

SCAM!! The Owner has had this property listed with a pool and amenities that have not been open since 2022,he is fully aware of this and he does not make you aware of this until after you book, and has a no refund policy! The building is old reminds me more of a housing project vs a hotel. It is very outdated and barely a decent place to sleep, no comforters on bed, bare minimum of everything here, sheets seemed like they we not changed and floor seemed upswept. I feel bad for anyone who books here for more than an emergency place to sleep, and even then this is comparable to just a motel, cheap $100 and under rental. Hotel is also bankrupt per owner, and is actually ESJ tower not Mare 1660, it served as a place to sleep but is unreasonable of owner to false advertise pool and other amenities knowing they are not available and not offer any credit or refund back, and then have the nerve to compare this place to one of the nicer upscale hotels, evaluating and comparing this place as a $300 stay.
