I would suggest the guesthouse as a pleasant location to stay for those looking to enhance their trip with cultural experiences. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the monte forte guesthouse. Geronimo, the proprietor, is an aging and wonderful gentleman who enjoys entertaining his visitors. His cooperative workers had just finished up the festivities of their yearly Christmas gathering when we arrived there. Geronimo and his wife, Angela, made sure all the merry makers were gone and that we were kept at ease. They prepared us a sumptuous dinner with fish, chicken, rice, and fired bananas. Geronimo kept us at the table and told us numerous stories about his life and his country. In the morning, Geronimo personally assisted in setting breakfast on the table for us and sat with us until we had supper. He was a reliable source of information. We enjoyed hearing about his large family he was enlightened when he revealed that he had 31 children and grandchildren! Hallelujah! The guesthouse room was rather simple it had a double bed, clean linen, a fan, and towels and soap. The back window offered a lovely panorama of the forest. We could also see the ocean while walking around the house. Although we were unable to tour the cocoa plantation, we did walk around the area. The cocoa plantation

I stayed here for three nights with a friend. I enjoyed the rooms. decent value. We had a delicious dinner. I appreciated the two sons of the owner's hospitality. They arranged for us to be accompanied by a guide named Cuc, which made our stay more than comfortable. Cuc made the trip to never and to never and the waterfall memorable despite the fact that we didn't speak Portuguese. We had a one-day trip to the Pico. Daniel, the guide who took us there, was climbing like speedy gongales on his finest days. After waiting for three hours, we stopped trying to climb the pico. My companion wasn't wearing the best hiking boots. The hike was quite slippery because it was pouring. So, be sure to wear a good hiking boots. Today's climb is a recommendation.

In the middle of a hill is an old plantation house with good basic facilities but still has electricity by generator. The food was very well cooked and really filling and the location was good for exploring the nearby hills.

This place is located not far from the ocean, in the northwest of the island. The rocks on the monteforte are now not only farm buildings but also guesthouses. We just came here for lunch, enjoying the stunning landscape at the foot of the Boo national park. Lunch was served on the terrace and was like a fish menu almost everywhere here. We then walked around the rock and saw cows on sao tome for the first time. We also liked looking at beautiful torch ginger or wax flowers by the house.
