If you want to stay just for a night and use it as your base to explore Cape Town Central, this is the place for you. The guesthouse itself doesn't have extraordinary views, however, you can see the mountain just down the road. The property itself is well kept and equipped. Each bedroom has a bathroom that has a huge shower inside it. The kitchen is not very functional for cooking, but it's very basic. However, the high walls and bars on all the windows made me feel unsafe, even though we were likely safe.

The staff at Shani will see me again! I was often in Cape Town on business and needed a place close to the office. This Guesthouse was in a great location. Very spacious comfortable room with warm wooden floors in a lovely house. Near everything in the city and the waterfront.

The Shantan Garden Guest House is near a road. In the city center it is a very good place to stay. It serves a good breakfast in Shikto. WIFI is very fast and reliable. Very clean and comfortable.

Hello, we stayed in room 3 at Ashanti guest house 1. Room was clean and comfy. Staff were super helpful. Some things we had issues with. The wifi was spotty. The room lights were difficult to turn off as the light switch seemed broken or malfunctioning. S Bathroom door was very loud and not enough privacy. The room keys shouldn't be branded with the company logo. If the keys are lost. It's very easy for a person to figure out where the key belongs to. Thank you so much. We had a comfortable stay otherwise.

This accommodation has a good cleanliness. This hotel is in a convenient location with restaurants, stores, petrol stations, and tourist attractions. The security is also good. In October, I went to Cape Town to go on the Cape Town cycle tour.

Vary good position in town walking distance to town centre and close driving for table mountain and the water front, pity there was not a fridge in room and shower could have had a bit more pressure

This Guesthouse was horrible and smelling. had smelly towels. bedding was stained. had a musky smell. all guests were not happy. had to wait half an hour to open the door, even after calling them earlier that day to confirm arrival just after 9am.

My stay was horrible. Very smelly towels. Bedding was stained. got to Guest house at at 21h15 and waited half an hour for someone to open the door. the hotel was smelling very bad. Had four guests booked in and all hated their stay. I do not recommend this guesthouse to anyone.
