Yes. The hotel is a bit of a cheap place, but he said that the place is gradually refurbished, floor by floor. Easy access from the city center, which is not safe at night, the rooms have a view of the mountain table and the breakfast is very good.

A good restaurant with excellent service and fair prices. The food was nice, though a little bit bristol rather than good Italian. Other customers appeared to be interested in looking at the nice pizzas. Unfortunately, we were there with a very noisy party at a table nearby, so that was a bit dampener. The menu is extensive. The crime brulee appears magnificent, but the taste and texture were a bit solid. You won't go wrong, and everyone should find something pleasant on the menu.

The hotel on it georges is located in the heart of downtown Cape Town. In the day, this is advantageous because you are close to many of the downtown attractions, including the long street and waterfront. At night, not much of a plus. The hotel does not provide dining facilities, and there are incredibly few restaurant options nearby. There are restaurants nearby, but getting there requires a taxi ride or avoiding some suspect individuals who see tourists as a quick source of cash. They can be extremely armed. The hotel's elevators have a mind of their own, making unscheduled stops and occasionally going up when you want to go down. We became used to it, but it is a little troubling. On the plus side, the staff is excellent and helpful. They provided excellent advice, had taxis accessible nearly immediately, and were very helpful packing our many suitcases into our too small rental car There were four of us. The hotel provides a prompt valet parking service with a secure parking facility. The rooms were large and clean, though the furnishings were a little antiquated. Our room had a panoramic view of Table Mountain. The hotel provided a delicious breakfast that included pretty much everything you could possibly want.
