We absolutely loved our stay at Bakubung Bush Lodge. The food was amazing, the staff were incredible, and the game drives were a real highlight of the trip. Every single member of staff was so friendly, welcoming and helpful — it genuinely felt like being part of one big family rather than staying at a hotel. The rooms were lovely, comfortable and perfect after long days out on safari. The spa was also excellent and a great way to relax between drives. We actually loved Bakubung so much that we cancelled the second part of our holiday at another hotel just so we could book an extra night here and come back! That probably says more than anything else could. An unforgettable experience from start to finish — we would return in a heartbeat.

The hotel was lovely. Friendly staff and great amenities. I would particularly like to mention Victoria & Itumeleng at the front desk. We had an issue with our return transportation to Johannesburg. Victoria & Itumeleng worked tirelessly to ensure we had the transportation at the price we were promised. We really appreciated the help.

Eine wunderschöne Anlage mit allem Komfort, den man sich wünschen kann. Besonders beeindruckend ist die fantastische Lage: Elefanten, Giraffen und Zebras kommen bis direkt an den Zaun der Anlage. Dazu kommen ein sehr leckeres Abendessen, eine attraktive Poollandschaft mit einem etwas versteckten, beheizten zweiten Pool sowie ein SPA mit hervorragendem Massageangebot.

Beautiful place to stay and excellent staff. Lovely food. The rooms are superb. Great to see the management team encouraging and training keen new talent too. We enjoyed the included daily (early morning/sunrise or late afternoon/sunset) game drives too. It was our second trip and we’d definitely stay again.

O quarto excelente. Deixo como sugestão um vidro fosco no local do vaso sanitário e travesseiros mais baixos. O safari foi bom. Motorista atencioso. Refeições excelentes. Jantar a la carte. Área de estar muito aconchegante.

Experiência maravilhosa no Bakubung Bushg Lodge. Quarto confortável, ambiente excelente, comida gostosa, funcionários prestativos, e os game drives de safari foram muito legais. Minha filha de 2 anos foi muito bem recebida e se divertiu no hotel e nos game drives de safari. Recomendo o hotel de olhos fechados. Adorei. Fui embora com muita vontade de voltar. Agora, um ponto negativo muito forte foi a comunicação. Tentei contato pelo chat do Hoteis.com e também por e-mail e não fui respondido. Você entra em contato e não recebe a resposta. O hotel precisa melhorar bastante nesse aspecto.

Our stay at Bakubung was absolutely wonderful and truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and kindness by an incredibly attentive and professional staff who made us feel at home throughout our entire stay. The hotel is beautifully maintained, very clean, and extremely well cared for: from the rooms to all the common areas. Everything was spotless and very comfortable. The food was also excellent, with great variety and quality. One of the highlights of our stay was, of course, the safaris. The guides were fantastic: knowledgeable, passionate, and clearly dedicated to making the experience special for every guest. We had incredible sightings, including leopards, lions, giraffes, zebras, impalas, rhinos and large herds of elephants with babies, which made the experience even more magical. We would also like to especially thank Donald at reception for his kindness and helpfulness, and the amazing safari guides Masechaba, Jafari, and Valbert, who made our game drives truly unforgettable. The hotel’s location, very close to the Pilanesberg National Park gate, makes everything even more convenient and allows you to fully enjoy the safari experience. Overall, it was an incredible stay and we would highly recommend Bakubung to anyone visiting Pilanesberg. We would love to come back one day!

The room was clean, the evening turn down service unexpected. The refreshments in the room were lovely. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. The buffet breakfast and dinner were superb with a good variety of fresh foods. The Boma braai was a unique and lovely experience.

The spa facilities were simple but the treatments were top class really relaxing and well priced. Beds were really comfortable the shower was large with a view of the pilansburg park. Rooms were luxurious and spacious. In room facilities were great with daily refresh of water, coffees, teas and biscuits etc... The included game drives were always entertaining and enjoyable Highly recommend my stay, it was a great getaway from city life. If 1 recommendation I can make would be to include more high protein vegetarian meals for the included dinner.
