This place feels at home. The staff went above and beyond to make it memorable for us. We went on some lovely bush walks with a wonderful guide. It's highly recommended. The cuisine was excellent and the chef is a true talent. Carla was extremely helpful, and for my sister-in-law's birthday, they even made us a beautiful porcupine cake.

The staff was friendly and accommodating to our large family group, good people. The rooms are clean and the food is delicious. Nothing bad to say.

You can't depend on the wildlife because that's what they are, but you can count on a very private, friendly stay with the flexibility to relax, enjoy game drives, delicious home made meals, starry nights and be prepared to fall in love with the animals as the guides share their caring spirits and knowledge with you.

We had a great experience at the Baluleni lodges beautiful spot, lovely lodges and very good staff. We stayed for 7 nights. The host, Carla, and our giver Ron did everything to make this special time in South Africa balle we were very fortunate to go game drives and see all kinds of animals. Also just in front of our lodges we saw girls, elephants, baboons and many impala. We hope to return someday.

This is not a marathon. On arrival, Rian and Carla welcomed us and assisted us with the packing of our belongings, which were then transported by the team to our rooms. The completely arranged option is excellent, serving straightforward and tasty meals that work in the bush. From lionseye, Jan planned a few bush walks. Org. Jan is extremely knowledgeable and patient and leads a slow, informative walk. This is not a marathon. Rian then welcomes us with drinks and snacks at the olifants River lookout point. Highly suggested. Lions, elephants, hippo, hyenas, etc. can be found on local game drives. We also reserved a half-day ruger drive with a packed breakfast. Rian and Carla baked a delicious birthday cake and put it on the pool deck for us to celebrate. The most appropriate rooms are those on the edge of the camp looking out onto the river. They had espresso machines, which is crucial for me because I enjoy coffee. Game roams through the camp because it is fenced. Last night, Rian discovered a sneaky hyena next to the kitchen, clear wanting to get in on the action. Dinners were served in the fenced boma next to the bonfire.
