Lovely place - really excellent meal and great value for money - outside shower rooms were lovely too. Only suggestion would be to put a mosquito pad in the rooms - aerosol was provided but there was a lot of mosquitoes. In general a lovely place with a very good chef.

We had a good time on our stay at Budmarsh. We wanted a peaceful country retreat away from the hustle and bustle of work. budmarsh is just what we needed. The newly renovated buildings are beautiful. The extended grounds and walking trails might use a little work, but they will be very nice too. The picnic we had on the lawn was a highlight, and the staff couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating or attentive.

The location is in Magaliesburg. The staff is always willing to help. This place is very welcoming, relaxing, peaceful, and quiet. The room is big with a shower and a spacious tab. The area is very nice for walking, safe and clean. The food menu is good and special requests can be accommodated.

Excellent boutique hotel with the friendliest and most helpful staff I've ever dealt with. The food is very good, but the rooms are the best. The conference room is well equipped with good wifi to have a hybrid meeting.

Without a doubt, we ought to have stayed at home because my husband and I traveled there to escape Johannesburg for the night. Their fivestar rating demands a serious assessment. They were unable to locate our reservation over application upon arrival, and it took a long time to locate. The staff was courteous and helpful. We stayed in room number 4, which was 25, and the furnishings were dismal and very sheer, ensuring that you wont be sleeping in since all the light is rushing in. The towels and linens were tidy and soft. Avoid using tap water if youre not allergic to it because it is filthy and brown. The restaurants evening meal was a joke. The food presented was more magnificent than the one offered. Thankfully, as my husbands kingship was undercooked and the lettuce was wilted, they did not reimburse us for the meal, so we checked out early and had it straightened up our trip home.

We have been visiting Budmarsh for a few years and always looking forward to coming back. Budmarsh is one of the best getaway destinations if you want to relax in a quiet environment with good service.

we had a wonderful two day break.... I found the bedroom to be a bit disappointing... no where to put valuables very little wardrobe space even if it was for two days... the shower in the bathroom was a death trap...plastic floor with no where to hold onto...
