Although we have been to klaserie and other places of the past, we had never seen elephants or hyenas as close to our tent as we had at simbavati. Weve previously been to numerous similar lodges, but we have never seen elephants or hyenas as close to our tent as we did in simbavati. For those night showers when I wasnt confident to utilize the open outdoor shower, fortunately, there is also an indoor shower. Although the electric blanket was excellent, we wish the fan in the room would move a little faster for air circulation because it seemed like it was just resting. After all the little lighting in safari lodges, I must really appreciate this lodgings lighting. I could read comfortably in bed. The personnel was lovely. They prepared a cake for my husbands birthday, which was greatly appreciated. The meals were excellent, and the portions were so large that after the substantial brunches, we skipped lunch. Although the Sari Sands area isnt as dense as the sari sands area, we did go out and saw the big 5, keeping up our record of leopard sightings on every ruger trip except safari. We appreciate the little treat bag they gave us for our 7hour drive back to Johannesburg

They have a large reserve with many wildlife and you will never see the large numbers of ruger. And then, we also got a full day tour. After that, they also provided a great lunch. Subsequently, the service was fantastic, as well as the cuisine. Besides that, they provide the service of the warthog, rhino, and nala. Besides that, the location is good because you can only see a few vehicles on a 34-hour trip.

During our six-game drives, we encountered the big five, lion pride with cubs, a herd of elephants, and a lion pride with cubs. Rudolph's driving abilities when on vacation were amazing. He is also extremely educational and quickly answers all our inquiries. We also noticed many animals from our cabin and terrace.

Our experience at the lodge was incredible. The staff is wonderful. They take care of every detail to make the trip perfect. The meal is delicious, the room is incredibly cozy and stunning, and our guide and tracker were extremely knowledgeable and determined to make sure the group could see the big 5 and the surrounding wildlife. Even though we were there during the dry season, we were able to see hips, antelopes, warthogs, hyenas, and even a leopard.

It was very pleasant to have a friendly staff, and they give excellent service. Excellent food although there are many more options, as well as fun games with a very knowledgeable guide. The internet connection was inadequate, but that's part of the experience.
