Me and my boyfriend had an incredible time at Umlani Bushcamp. The guests, staff, ranger, tracker, hosts and everyone else involved was really nice, and there was such a welcoming atmosphere. We saw a lot of incredible wildlife, and it was a trip I will fondly remember. The drives are comfortable and exciting. We stayed for two nights, and my only regret is not staying longer. 3-4 nights would have been perfect. We loved the fact there was a rustic feel to the place without the readily available WiFi and elextricity in the lodges, although there were spaces where one could charge phones and access the internet. The communal dinners with other guests and staff gave a great community feel. We stayed in the treehouse one night, where you really feel like you are in the middle of nature away from civilisation. The beautiful sunrise I will not forget. It was a little bit scary at first however, so would not recommend to do this alone.

Umlani is a fantastic, autentic African lodge with excellent service and nice food. All drinks included and safaris two times daily included. The staff was professional and service minded. I loved my stay and will be back.

My entire vacation to Omani was one of my most memorable ones, despite having previously experienced some incredible places. We slept in a sandoval by the pool, which was solar-powered and had a king-size bed and two twin beds in the main room. Our room had an open sky view on the top of the bath, so if you want more privacy, you may request one of the enclosed rooms. We thoroughly enjoyed sleeping in the middle of the bush. There were numerous animals that were spotted, including impalas and deceptive wild dogs who came out in force in full force with their pups! The sandoval overlooking the watering hole was our preferred spot to hang out. There, we encountered a wide variety of animals, including countless animals, from the ever-impending impala to the obscure wild dogs who showed up in armed with their pups in tow! We took time to enjoy the tranquility, relax, and take in the good company of our wonderful host. What about the camp personnel? When the animals were sleeping in one day, we stopped at an elephant watering hole, had a drink of tea, and simply sat there while the elephants and their calves lacked the energy to go out and explore the mud. My wife and I stayed at Omani Wilderness Camp for two full days. Our stay at Omani was nothing short of magical! The owners, mckay and marcus were very hands on involved and bent over backward to make us feel welcome. We were two out of 12 guests there at the time. They have 2 jeeps that can hold as many as 9 guests each for the safaris. Our jeep had murray as the ranger and clarence as the tracker. They were amazing at their job. We saw a lot of animals, and clarence saw a number of nocturnal animals that we saw on night drives. 3 genes and a chameleon. Omani was fantastic for seeing lions. We saw 2 different lion prides. The lion cubs were playful and kept the adults awake. Lions typically sleep on Thursdays, we learned. Omani was also great for viewing rhinos. We saw a number of rhinos and a large rhino baby! The camp has an observation deck that overlooks a waterhole. There is a bar next to the camp, and guests can assist themselves from there for no additional charge. Omani is a wonderful experience. Compared to other safari lodges, it adds more to its character as an fenced, ecological bush camp. When taking a shower, the nala can freely run around the bamboo and spruced rondavels, and a monkey might be with you. Dinner is served by candlelight, and solar panels generate light and electricity. You truly sense connected to the surrounding scenery. We used the chance to spend the morning in the tree house above a water hole outside the camp. I will never forget the first small drop of elephants that then increased to a total of 56 elephants all frolicing in the water a few meters below us. We liked the rooms, which were comfortable, and included everything needed, including the luxury of an outside shower. The bar area was a great place to read books throughout the day, and it had a fantastic view of the waterhole. The meals were excellent, and we certainly did not feel hungry. Final but most important, the game drives were fantastic. Our guide was elvis, and he was fantastic at finding lots to see whenever we went out. Thank you michael and crew for a truly memorable trip.

Five nights were way too short. The lovely staff went above and above to make sure we had a special and unforgettable vacation. It was wonderful, from the warm greeting from Themba, Joan, and Irina to our sad farewell. We felt very comfortable in the eco hut and well cared for by the cleaning team bed turned down with mosquito nets in place, laundry whisked away and returned the same day. Freshly paved paths in the morning and lit at night, sparkling pool and indigenous flower beds. Thank you to the back of house team. On the drives, at the tree house and at the waterhole directly opposite the camp, we saw a huge amount of game. Our ranger, elvis, has extensive knowledge of the flora and fauna with lots of anecdotes and his distinct philosophy on a variety of topics. He and tracker, April, made every drive special, whether it was game viewing or their entertaining conversation. Thank you also to Amos and Murray for sharing your expertise. Staying at the tree house was fantastic. It is a very unique experience that uses the stars and sounds. We were fortunate to see a rhino and a buffalo herd. The food was delicious, what flair and unique cuisine. The evening meal was magical in its setting, presentation, and excellent description of the meal by the talented chefs. A drum roll came to

Our stay was great! We decided to stay at this camp with little to no more details than the other reviews, and I'm glad we did. Such an amazing experience. Everyone was very friendly and pleasant. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone visiting the park. They even gave us some great recommendations for the next part of our trip to Cape Town. The food was also delicious! Our guides were also great. Going out of their way to ensure we had the best experiences possible.
