I booked this hotel as a package with expedite. The hotel is in a renovated old building that dates back to the turn of the century, I believe. The front portion of the building has been restored to match the old theme, but the rear portion has appeared to have been built more recently. Great position, peaceful neighborhood. Residential location, excellent views from the rear rooms with a patio. Stupidly sized rooms. Away from tourist activities, free parking nearby, efficient reception staff ample, inclusive breakfast. Cons, away from the beaches. Thin walls between rooms, no wifi, no room with a coffee maker. There is a good deal of toiletries that you should bring your own. Hair dryer is not available in the front room, 10 euro deposit is required to borrow one. We couldn't sleep well at night because of the noise from the streets and the adjacent rooms. I wished I had gotten a room in the front section with a view of the terrace balcony. The most disappointing aspect was the availability of free, high-quality wifi access throughout the hotel, I'm sure it doesn't cost much at this time. A hot drink making facility, adequate toiletries, a hair dryer, and food are also required. There is a dining restaurant for dinner here. I've never used it, but I was able to see some of the visitors eating there in different shifts

I spent one night at the rural mentor while visiting local friends. Had a delightful double room in the back with views of the sea and countryside. Had to book half board for an additional 36 bad mistakes! It's inexpensive to eat in rural areas, you can get a lovely meal for 20 including drinks. The set meal was terrible, there was no choice thickened liquidated vegetable soup, overpriced tuna with old and dried up Canadian potatoes no vegetables or salad, and a slice of freshly prepared caramel cake. The other people in the restaurant looked as if they were eating much better food, and when their bills came, they did not pay much more including drinks than we had paid for our half board cost! Additionally, breakfast was awful. The pastries were dated, and even though we arrived at 9.30, there were only a few pieces of overseasoned dried up spanish omelettes, and some very oily, chopped up fried potatoes, no bacon, or eggs. Coffee and juice were terrible. The delightful, fresh fruit was the finest part. The chef needs to be informed that not everyone wants overcooked foods, and that since the eatery can provide other food outside of the day meal, they must provide guests with a variety of delicious, edible foods.

The staff was exceptionally kind and accommodating. I couldn't have asked for more. There was no charge when we parked a side street within 200 yards that always had free spaces. The food was of very high quality and fresh. Even though we were late for dinner, they accommodated us and opened the kitchen. The hotel was very quiet all night except for the occasional visitor coming and going. There were two churches nearby that sounded bells for the time, which is possibly worth bearing in mind in case it might get you into trouble. The food was of really high quality and fresh. We didn't really know what was coming each night until it arrived, but it enhanced the experience. Breakfast was a fairly erratic buffet, so you weren't really sure what would be offered, but there was usually at least something that pleased most people. Breakfast is served on the terrace near the pool, I advise eating it on the terrace! If you are looking for an immaculate hotel with the highest standard, then this isn't the hotel for you. Nevertheless, if you are looking for rustic charm, something extraordinary, and very friendly personnel, I advise this hotel. Should I return, I would look it up once more.

This hotel is located in Los Realejos in a relatively quiet area. The hotel was very clean and the staff made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. We arrived a little early to reserve the room, but they let us leave our luggage at the front desk so we could find a place to have lunch. The rooms were very nice and modern, but in accordance with the hotel. We had rooms in the new part with a large patio and it was very quiet because it overlooked the barracks and down to the sea. The small pool is also good to enjoy after a walk around the old part of town and church. We stayed at the hotel for dinner and were pleasantly surprised at the 3-course canadian meal for 10 euros. There is a choice of meat or fish and both were very nice. The only complaint about this hotel is that it is not very good for people with walking difficulties due to the amount of steps down to the rooms. We enjoyed this hotel and will definitely use it again when we arrive north of the island.

I didn't have dinner there and didn't stay for one night. But I asked for a room in the old part. The room was very big, with a high ceiling and nice washers. In the background, we could sit by the window and the barracks were lovely, although the terrace had a lot of space downstairs. Breakfast was excellent and varied. Location is interesting, and parking may be difficult to find. It's fairly straightforward to get off the highway and not through Los Realejos. However, it is simple to walk across the barracks to find the facilities at Los I. Its location is distinct from Los I, but it is close.
