I've just returned from another incredible stay in Costa Volcano. I stayed there for four weeks in January and it was amazing. From my previous visit, not much to report. Even after the claims we had, everything was immaculate. The lovely Jana at the reception is excellent and extremely accommodating. See you in October. Clive Taylor. Happy trails, ex.

Just got back from a week-long stay at the Aparthotel Costa Volcano Spa. Affectionately located, just a short stroll from the strip in one direction, and not much further from the old town in the other. Upon arrival, the receptionist was friendly and accommodating. Before departing, I had a large, cold beer worth EUR 2. 50 each. The strip is only a short walk away one way and the old town is not far in the opposite direction. The room we reserved was 215 or 216. I'm not sure which room faces the bar right now, but I never heard much noise. The kitchenette was adequate, with a small fridge, a small hob, a toaster, a kettle, a coffee maker, and a kettle. Beds were made and towels changed every other day. Clean, bright living space with a small television, but since we didn't take the holiday to watch television. The mini market at the first level near reception pays for items at the front desk. The pool area is also quite tidy. Really don't mind what we paid and would happily return in the future if you see the pictures.

A week on a volcano in the costa rica. Clean but basic apartment. Only one socket in the kitchen area, so you had to plug out the kettle to use the toaster, microwave, etc. Even though we were on a quiet side of the building, nighttime noise from the adjacent bars can be heard. If you're a light sleeper, this can be a problem, and when you do fall asleep, the cleaning ladies will surely snooze you early in the morning, spinning their trolley and conversing and occasionally screaming at each other. On the plus side, it's close to both the old town and the main strip, but not at the flat as other reviews have stated.

I stayed there for a week, a nice clean apartment, good staff, no complaints, going back 24 th of this month for days, very close to the old city and Beech with great restaurants and bars, very safe with 24 hour reception and tasty breakfast for 4 euros.

The only reason I will stay here is the simple clean conditions. The cleaning crew come daily to make the beds and leave only clean towels to use. Likewise noisy since work is continuing at 10 am so don't stay there if you want to have a calm vacation. I saw a man cleaning a large pool area using the same bucket of water to clean a very large area. The bar is closed at the rp. I won't be back.
