Wow. What a great place. It overlooks the beach, but manages to be at both the center of what is going on but also a quiet retreat. We only stayed one day but wish we could have stayed longer. It is a small boutique hotel, but what a wonderful place to visit. We had a chat with the owner who told us the history of the place. Breakfast was also so well cooked just for us. It felt like home away from home.

This is a lovely little guest house overlooking the most gorgeous bay. The rooms are on the small side but the views make up for it. The staff are very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast is basic but filling. There's lots of nice cliff walks and it's not far from Santander, there's a local bus if you want to go and have a wander there.

Lovely friendly hosts. Fantastic location overlooking the beach. Secure parking in front of the house..Nice room at the top of the house. Fell asleep to the sound of waves crashing. Home cooked breakfast good value. Advice..let them know eta as we didn't and their was no one around for a while...our fault not thiers.

En un sitio bonito al lado de la playa. Es una auténtica maravilla. El desayuno riquísimo con tortilla francesa hecha a petición con tomates de la huerta, panes tostadas y zumo de naranja fresca y excelente (no el tipico zumo ácido de los grandes hoteles). El dueño Gerardo súper majo. Y la señora que nos ha preparado el desayuno, el checkin y checkout, las habitaciones, muy amable y sería con su trabajo. La posada tiene su propio parking pero en temporada baja se puede aparcar en todas partes. En verano el parking propio obviamente es de gran ayuda! Un fin de semana perfecto y para repetir.

The location was fantastic, perched above a little cove with a sandy beach. The owner was very welcoming and eager to offer advice on nearby beaches and coastal walks. Dogs are welcome, for no additional cost. I had a kitchen available downstairs for the guests to use, and I had a nice lounge and sitting area. However, the wifi connection only worked here.

I greeted them very warmly by Gerard. The receptionist woman who also provides breakfasts, coffee, and cleans the rooms is an excellent and supportive individual and a valuable asset to the hotel. Our dog was extremely welcome. He took lovely walks along the cliffs with stunning sea views. There are no dogs on the beach, just a 100 euro fine, which is understandable because it is extremely popular and cleaned each day by the municipal authority. Two reasonably priced restaurants are a short distance away. We had to use a fan in the room because it was really hot in July. Otherwise, clean and ideal stopover for a ferry and coordinating the vaccinations of dogs with required pet passports from a vet. Even a short vacation.

highly commended, we will definitely return. It would be challenging to find better accommodations, especially for such a reasonable cost. The warmest welcome and constant friendly attentive service with a delicious and plentiful breakfast, spotlessly clean, tastefully furnished, quiet beachfront location with spectacular views, a lovely garden to unwind, and secure parking. A fantastic beach restaurant is only a short distance away. We cannot thank Gerard and Estelle enough for making our stay memorable and enjoyable, and we cannot fault it. Posed la Moreno is the perfect hotel for a brief stay when using the ferry, which is just a 15-minute drive, or for a long relaxing beach holiday with lovely countryside for walking or cycling..

We stayed there for a few nights in a car for a trip to the Cantabrian ocean. The picture was fantastic, the staff were amazing, the scenery was amazing and you had a good night's sleep. The location was ideal and the perfect place to travel with your dog. Good sleep and showers. Thank you Gerard. He was in contact with us since we made the reservation. You just feel at home here.
