Really cute and quiet. Great food and chill corner with flat tables and pillows. Friendly staff. We really had a relaxing time. Better than the riverside restaurant nearby. Come here at sunset!.

The lovely ban thong u hotel is conveniently located at the footbridge and on the other side of the ping river, directly across from a bustling, fantastic carrot market. The home is a teak-chiang mai style home with original furnishings, stunning wooden floors, and high ceilings. The cozy rooms have good mattresses and air conditioning despite the fact that our room faced a busy road, causing a little traffic noise. Down the hall and some steps, the bathroom is roomy, modern, and clean. Thanos Charoenrad is where you can get across the street. One of Thailand's most holy awards is a very lovely temple and one of Thailand's sacred credit. It is amazing!.

The bar is quiet, as the atmosphere is so loud, not noisy, like the hanging plants and wind chills. The atmosphere is very clean and relaxing. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. And then, there's a table that has cushions so you can relax and read with iced tea.

The food at Ban thong u was not good. The tom yum was expensive and bland! It seemed like all the right ingredients were there, but the soup had no taste. Broad noodle with pork and fried rice with pork were both bland. We anticipated a better meal for 370 baht. The butterfly pea tea was the best part of the meal. It was excellent. The waitress was friendly, the bathroom was clean and the outdoor restaurant had a comfortable feel. In conclusion, this restaurant with a lovely setting along the ping river might be a good place for drinks, but I do not recommend the food.
