Avril and Denis were great hosts. Property is located very close to Shanklin Beach and a short walk from the town. Free parking was a huge plus. The family room was comfortable for the three of us. Would happily stay here again.

I have had a number of frustrations at other places I have stayed and there were none of those here. The room was spacious, including the shower room. The area was quiet. The hosts were friendly but not intrusive. The heating system was adjustable and quiet. The breakfast was good quality. There was a nice lounge area if required. The location is great (assuming your are familiar with the hills of Shanklin seaside/

We had a lovely short break here the triple room was lovely with a separate single sleeping area and delightful en-suite. The proprietors were friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble.

We arrived at Claremont by April and were very welcomed. The rooms are spotless and the beds are very comfortable. Breakfast was ordered the night before and was terminated at 08.00, which was a fantastic way to start the day. The beach is only a short walk away. The only issue was that the shower had a mind of their own, hot cold, hot cold, we learned who to help around this and would highly recommend it, we would definitely return.

The stay was very good, also the breakfast was very tasty, the host, Adam and Dennis gave a 5 star service, this place is also very recommended. Thanks, Shirley and Mark.

The owner of this hotel is very friendly. They provide a wonderful guest house with lovely rooms and a very satisfying breakfast. The place is in a wonderful location, close to the beach, sea, and other places.

We stayed on the island for 4 nights. April Dennis the host is very nice and give the best welcome with good guide how to get to their house. The room is nice and pleasant. The bed is comfortable and the en suite room is neat. Breakfast is available if you ask for it the night before with plenty of options. The beach lift is 5 minutes and the main town 10 minutes away. The shower is temperamental in terms of temperature and water pressure. However, water pressure appears to be a problem for the entire island. Thanks for your welcome and it was a pleasure to stay with you.

We just returned from four wonderful nights here. We were only meant to remain for three nights at first, but we were able to stay an additional night, which was greatly appreciated. The location was still as lovely as it had been since our last visit here in June 2019. April and Dennis are excellent hosts who go above and beyond to ensure that visitors have a pleasant experience. We had room 1, which is on the ground floor and very comfortable and has an en suite shower. Breakfast is delicious, you are given a menu in your room for what you want the following morning, which must be left in the hallway by 10 p.m. the previous night. There is ample parking both inside and outside, and you can get to the town centre, seafront, bus and railway stations, and Franklin Old Village, all within a 10- to 20-minute walk from the property. looking forward to returning in the summer.

B&B was nice and clean, nice welcome and the breakfast was more than adequate for the start of the day. However, the double bed in our room would need a new mattress as could really feel the springs and was not really that comfortable, sorry to be negative.
