Lovely twin room, very clean and comfortable. The communal kitchen and lounge were well equipped and a great addition. The staff were helpful and answered any questions I had. We would stay here again if we visited in future.

spent two nights here in Oban in June. 2026. absolutely loved this hotel and would stay there again in a heartbeat. It's a very old building but the rooms have been renovated beautifully keeping the charming old features. pro tip. try to book room 6. it has amazing views and an ensuite. being an older pub hotel, you do get a private bathroom, but it is separated from your room by a few feet In a lot of the rooms. It's only a 5-minute walk to downtown Oban. make sure you go to the docks and get a huge serving of mussels fresh off the boat for £8. at a little green Shack right on the dock. They have a fully equipped kitchen downstairs. what I loved was the fact that for a very reasonable price you could buy food such as eggs, bread, yogurt, etc. for just a few pounds. They also had two fridges for customers to use. the staff were absolutely lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be staying the next time we go to Oban. which we will because we absolutely loved the town.

Conveniently located facing the ocean right in downtown Oban, so the whole town was within walking distance once we got settled. Comfortable room with parking right next door, and we enjoyed dinner at the pub right in the hotel, watching one of the FIFA matches. Slept well here and had a hearty continental breakfast the next morning. Would recommend!

Posizione comodissima, Il centro si trova a 5 minuti neanche a piedi.. parcheggio in strada ampio e disponibile .

Wer Oban erkunden will, ist hier genau richtig.

If you reading the reviews, then please do not hesitate and BOOK NOW! The views across to the sea and the mountains are fantastic and the property is only a 15 mins walk from the ferry or the train station. Excellent bar but the accommodation is amazing. Lovely little en suite room with sea view and the cleanest bathroom ever. It is a big surprise to find a serve yourself breakfast dining room with an honesty box or pay in advance. Fantastic. Thank you to the staff, very helpful and friendly. BOOK RIGHT NOW!!

The room had everything we needed, it was quaint & convenient. The kitchen / breakfast setup was perfect for doing our own cooking and purchasing just what we needed - a few eggs. I look forward to staying again the next time I’m in Oban!

Gorgeous view, excellent location. Walkable to train station, shopping, dinning. Our whole family was able to stay in a private room. Kitchen and common area were the cleanest we stayed at. Again, the sunset view from our room was amazing! Highly recommend.
