Loved the B&B, owners were friendly, rooms clean and it is such a quaint setting. Stone throw away from train station. Food was lovely. Set in a small village so it’s quiet. It is quite hilly so be aware if you have mobility issues.

We were very impressed with our stay. Selma was the PERFECT HOST. The welcome was perfect, when we found it! Good parking on site. The bedroom, although smallish, was very clean & the purpose. The bathroom was great with fantastic shower. All GREAT NO PROBLEMS CREDIT TO ALL

It took us 2 goes to spot the lane leading up to the property but there was space to park even though a few others were there. The property is beautifully appointed and we were greeted on arrival even though we were before 4pm. Lovely quiet location even though near the rail line with steam trains. Well appointed room and modern shower room. Good choice for breakfast Pity about the foggy weather on the moors but a lovely few days

Another great stay at Grosmont House. It was really convenient for access to/from Grosmont Station as well as the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. The room was clean nicely arranged, it had all the accessories you’d need. The staff, yet again, were fantastic and friendly! The breakfast was brilliant too! We shall be back again!

Selma Chris & Nikki were amazing hosts lovely company great room fantastic breakfast and they were all very knowledgeable about the area which helped to make our 5 nights stay very special. We would happily go back & hope to do so. We would recommend staying here too anybody. David & Sandra

Great place to stay, just 7 miles out of Whitby. Quiet spot alongside the NYMR station. Beautiful house, very clean and tidy. We booked the Bridestones King size room, which was excellent with a huge e suite a D super shower. Unfortunately, the owners are selling up shortly.

The host Chris and is wife are very friendly. Nothing is to much trouble. Breakfast was excellent, just about anything you wanted was available. The room was clean and comfortable. My only con was the room in the near future will require redecorating.

A lovely room with a warm welcome by the host. The room overlooked the steam railway so we could see all the coming and goings at the station. The breakfast was excellent using local produce. Just missing black pudding. The location was beautiful and placed us just where we wanted to be.
