We stayed 5 days at the flat. The location was amazing. It’s right at the base of Victoria Street which is one of the most iconic streets in Edinburgh. It’s directly across from the Harry Potter store where people queue to enter all day. The flat has a large family room with a fold out couch. 2 nice size bedrooms and a kitchen. The bath is in one room and a small toilet room. They provided plenty of towels and toiletries. The beds were all comfortable. The only concern we had was the amount of noise outside. The flat is on the first floor and especially over the weekend the loud noises coming from all the folks leaving the surrounding pubs was very loud.

There was a delay in getting the key from reception of local hostel as code had not been sent/received and receptionist seemed wholly unable to help. Joivy / host responded to email quite quickly but not a great start. Rest of stay was a pleasure and great location, etc.

Check-in required a 6 digit code . The host didn't send it the day of checkin, and the listed phone number to contact the host didn't work. Had to sit at the bar with my kids where we were supposed to get the key, and couldn't get a person to talk to on the phone. The host did eventually respond with the code after I messaged in the Expedia interface, but it was a pretty frustrating process to debug over a limited international data plan.

Sovesofaen var af virkelig ringe kvalitet. Dobbeltsengene i de to værelse var små. Toilettet kunne ofte ikke trække ud. Der var meget larm om aftenen og natten.
