A wellknown tourist destination that blends modernity with historical charm. The cobblestone streets provide a nostalgic tour of history, while the shops, cafes, and pubs provide a contemporary atmosphere. Walking down the street, with the Gothic architecture on both sides, felt like traveling through time and experiencing eras. Despite the crowds, this place exudes a unique calmness. Delightful.

There are many amazing architecture and places to stop and look at. The small side passages are worth exploring and make for great photo opportunities. Nice selection of coffee and snacks along the way and worth visiting from holyrood to the castle. Wear comfortable shoes!.

It is a city of contrasts. As you stroll through the cobbled streets of the old town, you are transported back in time. The skyline is dominated by the magnificent edinburgh castle, perched atop an ancient volcanic hill. Its centuriesold stones whisper tales of battles and royal intrigue. In stark contrast, the new town offers a glimpse of the elegance of the neoclassical architecture and wide avenues. Edinburghs cultural richness unfolds before you, with the royal mile bustling with street artists and musicians, creating an electrifying atmosphere. Tartan souvenirs, including woollen scarves, kilts, and handcrafted jewellery, are a treasure of scotch craftsmanship. For a scenic escape for a dose of natural beauty, we ventured to the extinct volcano at archies seat, which is located in the heart of the city. With a breathtaking view, offering a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Edinburgh has not only impressed me with its architectural marvels, but it has also welcomed me with its welcoming spirit. It is a journey through time and tradition that i will always hold dear to my heart.

The street view is stunning. We visited there during the festival, and it was quite busy towards the castle during the day. However, the buildings next to us were quite impressive. We somehow experienced a relatively low mobile internet connection in this area.
