We turned into the drive and as we approached the castle it was a real wow moment. The disappointment was that check In for our room was at the leisure centre desk, I so wanted to walk up the steps of the castle and take in the atmosphere. Saying that the staff were all very very friendly, courteous and loved petting our dog. The food in The Bistro was amazing, we arrived on steak night and it was cooked to perfection. The grounds were very peaceful to walk around, very well maintained. We will definitely come back and book a castle room

Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Facilities at Leisure centre were great my grand daughter really enjoyed the swimming pool and putting. Beautiful surroundings which the were fantastic for walking the dog. Trim track could do with bit of maintenance for safety reasons. Our villa was in a good spot and had all we needed apart from Hairdryer which seemed to have disappeared as the box was there empty. Some paintwork needed refreshed but this did in no way spoil our enjoyment of the villa. Comfortable beds and seeting.

Amazing stay in the beautiful Rose Cottage. The property is situated on the outskirts of the estate, set within beautiful, private gardens - perfect to take advantage of the lovely hot tub. This was an amazing bonus!! The property was clean and well appointed. The staff were all extremely helpful and polite. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing break away, we can’t wait to return! X
