This cottage is in a good location with the bonus of your own parking spot. The cottage is ideal for a family of 4. Downside in the some of the areas needed cleaning especially the kitchen which we cleaned ourselves. There is a horrible smell of damp mainly in the kitchen. The bedrooms were comfortable but bedroom 2 is a bit tight. The bathroom was ok and clean but a bit dated. This place just needs a bit of TLC

Convenient to town but directly onto a busy road making it very noisy. A tired looking property with desperate need of decorating and attention to detail. The garden was a mess and other aspects of the property needed mentioning in the description. The stairs were very steep and narrow and would cause problems if you weren’t so mobile. The property is rated 4 stars but I fail to see how it compares to hotels with the same rating. The a similar cost we could have stayed in a nice hotel instead of a house in desperate need of some TLC. One of the extension leads had a faulty plug and the plug in the bathroom sink didn’t fit. The tea towel and dish cloth provided was old and stained….
