When my wife and I were engaged in December, we decided to have a brief elopement here. We traveled from London to Glasgow, where we spent one night before moving on to the venue. Although we had a photographer on site, both went above and above to capture some beautiful images of the event. The drive up to Loch Oil was bizarre, and something Id made many times since I arrived from London. The people are the main selling points for the entire company, though the residence itself is superb. Given the settings created by the employees there, getting married at home is as close to having the assurance that he only wants to make sure youre having a great day, and we did. It might sound trivial in small alterations, but two stand out having a drink in the bar before the ceremony out of a Scottish ceremonial piece of kit that I cant remember the name of and the photo at first sight were just a few things they did not have to do. In retrospect, those minor details only enhance the intimate feel you have at such a location that is never equaled at any other typical wedding venue. The food was excellent. The only thing I would have done differently was to extend the stay by one night or possibly arrive earlier. In order to make as much of it available, we were only given plenty of space for. Looking for the perfect intimate elopement is not a better option

We had a small wedding and had such a great experience at the lodge. The staff could not be more helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The venue is beautiful and the lodge is in a beautiful setting right on the loch. Iain, the owner, and Janice were very helpful in making sure our day and time there was just perfect.

Despite the fact that the on-site overflow accommodations were not completely completed, the venue management had created a wonderful solution, and the couples who remained there were quite pleased. Furthermore, there was a shuttle service provided for these visitors to transport them between each other as needed. The grounds are vast, with stunning views of the loch and plenty of photos available for our daughter and husband to take for posterity. All of the employees went above and above to maintain a calm and friendly atmosphere, and everything was done with good humour and prompt attention during what can be a difficult time for everyone. Ultimately, the cuisine is of the highest caliber, and I have never experienced a wedding where the quality of the food was so excellent. From a full afternoon tea upon arrival to the friday evening buffetstyle meal, breakfasts on Saturday and Sunday, light refreshments on Sunday midday, canapes after the wedding, and wedding breakfast on Saturday evening, I was very grateful to the workers. The food choices were varied, the food that was meant to be hot was hot, the food plates were hot, which is a common recurring problem in so many places, and the range of foods offered to guests was of the high standard one would expect in an elegant restaurant. We all had a wonderful time at the lodge, and we want to thank the whole team.

My wife and I just got married at the lakeside lodge in loch oil. The lodge, the summerhouse, the grounds, and the views were spectacular. Huge thanks to Janika, Athena, and Iain, who were amazing. Service, care, and attention to detail were outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble for us, and we felt extremely well taken care of. Everything from breakfast to afternoon tea to dinner was delicious. I can't recommend this incredible location enough.

This summerhouse was ideal for our wedding. Everything about the lodge was gorgeous. We experienced complete peace and security, Janice repeatedly provided us with food and drink, and nothing was too much difficulty. We can't believe how much we consumed over the two days, and the food was excellent. We intended to get married in the treehouse at first when we made our reservation with you, but when we discovered that it had to be removed, we were very shocked, and I even cried! But when we were there, everything was so stunning and perfect that we completely forgot that there was a tree house in the first place! We could not have chosen a more perfect location. When we made our reservation, it was also really beneficial to have Michael and Photogenic and the Laura Gray Teams details as recommendations. That saved me hours of Internet searches, and we couldn't have been happier with them. We appreciate everyone so much for making our wedding so memorable.
