What amazing stay here for New Year’s Eve . It was the cutest place, the enormous gorgeous Christmas had me sold it was amazing and made it extra special all the little extras all the decorations. The hosts were so lovely , friendly welcoming and nothing was too much for them . The breakfast was amazing and a great selection. The room was very clean and cosy . I didn’t use the hot tub or swimming pool put the area looked Gorogus and lovely views . The little bar area was lovely touch too . I would definitely recommend here and I will definitely becoming back to stay . Close to thirsk , Ripon and lots of other North Yorkshire lovely places x

On arrival friendly greeting, room very spacious and comfortable, excellent breakfast, overall couldnt fault anything or anyone. Would definitely recommend to stay here and will definitely return.

Room was first class and very comfortable. The room itself was beautiful and all fixtures and fittings were quality. Very quiet and all we could hear off and on was a hooting owl.

This was a beautiful property on 13 acres with orchards and a lovely courtyard. The room was extremely spacious and meticulously decorated and cleaned. The bathroom was spacious and featured a fabulous shower (Room 3). Sue was a gracious host and prepared a delicious made to order breakfast in a beautiful dining area. Conveniently located to the town of Thirsk which has a James Harriet (All Creatures Great and Small) museum. Well-worth a visit with shopping and parking. 5-stars!

A perfect escape! We got to park the car and enjoy the sunset and quiet while soaking in the views from the hot tub. We weren’t brave enough to try the pool at the start of May but will be back in the future. The breakfast choice amazing and Sue was very welcoming.

Lovely 3 day stay. Room spotlessly clean and serviced daily with clean towels, tea , cofeee etc. Sue our hostess was amazing , very friendly and full of local knowledge. The breakfast was really lovely with plenty of options- so nice to have fresh fruit not tinned.

A gem of a place to unwind. We were made to feel very welcome and the hot tub and setting was very relaxing! Hospital and food were also better than you’d expect for the price. Great value all things considered!

Couldnt fault it, Sue was great , really great choices for breakfast, really set us up for the day. It was a good location for us to travel around the area. We were booked in for 4 nights, but due to a family emergency, we had to cut our trip short. We will be back..mark & Jacki

Beautiful, stunning surroundings! Accommodation was absolutely immaculate. Sue was very welcoming, as too was George the dog. We are definitely planning on coming here again. Our first and only choice for our next stay in Thirsk. Beautiful varied choice of breakfast options too!
