The cleanliness was excellent, and the kitchen was fully furnished with all the necessities. Over the new year, when our friends stayed at the property next door, we recently visited the barn nordic suites. Both properties had thoughtful decor, and the hot tub was a popular hit with the kids. We chose not to eat out but had plenty of take-out options, tried flames, and local chinese, both of which were excellent. The town was close by and had a lot going on, and we didn't eat out but had lots of options for takeout.

The staff is very professional and friendly and very reliable. The cleanliness of the room is good, and the smell is nice. The place is clean. Plus I can smell the nice scent of tea, coffee, and beer.

This is our second visit and it was as good as the first. The cleanliness of the room was perfect and it smelled nice. It has lots of extra touches like tea, coffee and beer! We definitely recommend this place.

Overall, we had a great visit here, and we would recommend it as well as Ulverston as a base for the lakes and an amazing location. This was our first trip to the lakes, and Ulverston is a charming city with a main cobbled road and a wide range of shops, restaurants, and pubs. The flat was tidy and brief, with a personal key code as an added advantage rather than a key. The shower did not have much power, but at least the bathroom had a bath, which is a bonus for small properties. Although we spent a lot of time exploring local cafes and restaurants, the bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen had most necessities for self-catering. The absence of sound insulation from the apartment above, which a few guests have criticized, is the only downside I think deserves to be addressed. We were in the copenhagen suite on the ground level, and we could hear people above walking around. During the day, it is okay, but late at night or early in the morning is not welcome. Perhaps rugs or carpets would be helpful in handling this. A public parking lot is located behind the property, just a few steps away, where three 16 and seven day parking are available since there is no parking available.

It was a wonderful find. The place is really clean, and very nice. It was also warm and comfortable for returning once you had been walking. Diana is incredibly considerate, and I strongly suggest it.
