Fabulous welcoming stay at the Boat House, great location on the beach, rooms with a beautiful view of the mainland and delicious food, what’s not to like and Dean is the best hotelier!

We had a lovely stay at The Boathouse. We had a Seaview room and it was spotlessly clean. We had dinner and breakfast here and both was fantastic. We will definitely be back!

Everything about our stay at the Boat House Hotel in Seaview was perfect. The room was lovely — spotless, comfortable, and full of character. You can tell a lot of care goes into keeping the hotel at such a high standard. The hospitality was second to none. The staff were genuinely warm, attentive, and couldn’t do enough for us. A special mention as my wife accidentally left her toiletry bag behind, and the hotel very kindly returned it to us in the post without any fuss at all — an incredibly thoughtful and much-appreciated gesture. We wouldn’t hesitate to highly recommend this hotel. Brilliant place, brilliant staff, and a truly faultless stay.

Lovely room, very clean and big bathroom. Heating was on max so we had to turn it off and open the window but otherwise it was all good.

Lovely property, fairly recently refurbished, right across the road from the beach. it’s located just between Ryde and Seaview, both of which are accessible via the coastal path. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated giving it a calm ambience. The bathroom has a shower and a bath. Breakfast was exceptional with great choices and really well cooked food.

Was over there for the Ryde 10 race. 15 min walk along the beach to town, lovely sea views and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Esp. as 2 of our party were vegans. Vegan breakfast was on the menu and the chef specially prepared an evening mean, so excellent service.

I genuinely can’t fault the level of customer service. I was a demanding guest too eg I spilt a large glass of orange juice over the upholstered chair and the carpet. And that was just one example! The breakfasts were superb. The entrance was private so I didn’t have to go through the pub/ restaurant part to get to my room. It was literally a stone’s throw away from the beach and on the coastal path. Every single staff member was friendly and helpful. I ate in the restaurant a few times and the food was lovely. My room was smallish but fine for just me and the bed so comfy. The bathroom was large and had a jacuzzi bath ! Just to add the cherry on top, the weather was perfect for my 5 day break. I hope to return one day.
