It has a lovely welcoming, family feel to the hotel. Always a pleasure to revisit, it feels as though I’ve never been away when I do.

Air con!! - unexpected surprise in my room! Clean nice rooms. Close to the town for access to other restaurants etc. got there for check in time which enabled me to get one of the spaces in the back which are a first come first serve basis. Would return if in Salisbury again.

Great location for exploring Salisbury as everything was in walking distance. The hotel was spotless and very well looked after. All the staff were so helpful and friendly, with nothing too much trouble. Rooms were fantastic with great air conditioning, much appreciated on the hottest weekend of the year. Eggs cooked to order at breakfast, which made breakfast one of the best I have ever had in a hotel. Superb experience all round and we will definitely be back the next time we are in Salisbury.

Best hotel in Salisbury. Consistently good. I stayed during a heatwave and the rooms have AC, which none of the other hotels in Salisbury have (I have tried them all). Given climate change, if you are visiting in the summer, AC can be very helpful.

Reviews 2026 The Manor House Hotel exceeded our expectations despite the age of the house. We like the shower with good water pressure and the use of the lift. Breakfast was a treat everyday. The staff were welcoming and friendly. We booked this place because we didn’t have a car & we were relying on the train & buses to get around. Would highly recommend!

A lovely hotel in a great location, the car park is a bit small awkward to get out of depending where you’re parked.

Friendly and helpful receptionist on arrival and also the next day. My single room was clean as was bed linen and towels. Room not large but more than adequate for an overnight stay. No dinner served in the hotel but they are happy to recommend local eateries of which there are many. The hotel does have a bar which was open for 4 hours in the evening. Breakfast was buffet style with a selection of cereals, fruit, yogurts, toast and cooked. They cook your eggs to your preference eg poached, fried and then you help yourself to hot cooked items. Breakfast staff were very welcoming. All in all an excellent hotel.

Can’t fault anything. The only thing that could be a challenge is parking as there’s only room for a few cars in the hotel car park, but, there are parking places nearby so not a huge problem. We were lucky as we had a space.
