A lovely night spent at the stables at Owlet Hall with my wife. The property is beautiful, it's more like a small cottage than anything and me and my wife fell in love with the place as soon as we walked in. Very clean and tidy, a few cobwebs in places, but I'm not complaining at all.. It had a full kitchen, living area and a seperate 1st floor bedroom with a lovely big comfy bed. We will be visiting for a weekend soon and we will be booking here again. Again, this isn't a complaint. There is an issue with the part of the shower that holds the head in place doesn't work properly and the shower head won't stay high enough for a comfy shower.

A lovely stay in a cute old stable. Lovely provision of cereal, bread, butter, milk and coffee (including some for the cafetière for those like me who don’t drink instant). The fridge has a small freezer at the top which is great. The living room is double height and very comfy with underfloor heating, the bedroom is upstairs on the mezzanine. The owners have really thought about the things you need when staying away in self-catered accommodation and it shows! 10/10

Lovely people, great little stables convertion..... really enjoyed my stay! Thanks for having me! Beautifully set out, great facilities and a very very comfortable bed! Couldnt ask for more! Only slight point is that its not super easy to find..... you miss the entrance/sign easly as you pull in the street..... Twice i had cars behind me meaning I couldn't stop in time to see the Hall sign. Be nice to have a little sign with "The Stables" Would defo stay again!

Chose this accommodation as it is close to family we were visiting. It was exactly as described and the hosts were very accessible and accommodating. The sofa was more comfortable than it looked, basic breakfast provisions were provided, it was clean and comfortable, easy to find, easy to park and the heating worked very well. It was walking distance to a supermarket and to a pub which we visited for a drink. We would have preferred having a washing machine rather than a dishwasher (which we didn’t use) and there was limited clothes storage in the mezzanine bedroom but we had seen that from the online pictures. Overall we were very happy with this accommodation and would definitely recommend it.

Me and my wife had a great one night stay for a friends wedding nearby. The stables were a mix of modern and traditional features done to high standards, making it cosy and quaint, yet very practical. The area was lovely and quiet, with a little centre. Although we didn’t venture out due to the wedding. The owners were very communicative and check in was dead easy (even through they weren’t there), which was fine, as we felt right at home here. Would recommended and stay again if ever in the area.

This is a beautiful little cottage and has everything you need for a break in the country or a business trip. There's a couple of supermarkets close by if you want to cook or a pub across the road that does good food.

Well presented property in a nice location. With plenty of local amenities. The owners are very friendly. Inside the stables were clean, tidy and had very thing we needed for a short weekend stay We would not hesitate to book again.

This was delightful, perfect accommodation. Thoroughly relaxing, comfortable stay. Will definitely be back. North Lincolnshire is interesting too. Plenty to see. Scunthorpe 20-21 is excellent if you're interested in architecture and/or art. The Ropewalk at Barton is a gem too. And Lincoln isn't far a way.

I stayed at the Owls for 4 nights last year. It was completely independent of the main property. This accommodation has a complete menu for breakfast, even though it is fully separate from the actual property. This makes it really affordable given the nightly rates. I will visit the Owllets next time I travel. I hoped that after the lockdown I can explore the area in more depth. I experienced the gloomy weather and arrived a day before the snow and 10 degrees outside. This hotel has underfloor heating and was great for the dreadful weather. I have a balcony where you can rest.

Highly advised. It was a really enjoyable experience, starting with the simplicity of contacting the owners before leaving. The stables are well maintained and equipped with everything you could possibly need, whether staying for one night or longer. It is meticulously kept clean, has a fully equipped kitchen with a cooker, microwave, tea, and coffee, and has neat maintenance. There is a teach express right around the corner, and all the town center takeaways are within easy walking distance. WiFi is reasonably priced, and the lounge has a decent free coffee.

A really comfy hideaway for a short break away from it all The location in the heart of a small and friendly town means that pubs with good food and convenience stores are just a short walk away, and if you prefer a longer walk or cycle ride, miles of level country are all around. We appreciated the warm welcome and larder basics as well as plenty of local information. The accommodation is spacious, stylish, and wellequipped and the supersized bed in the gallery was a plus. Our only suggestion would be to bring some slippers, the hardwearing stair carpet is a little rough for sensitive feet, if youre coming downstairs to use the facilities or make an early morning cup of coffee.

The stables are a nice little spot to stay. A warm and comfortable underfoot heating and a very good sleep in a king size bed. Sorry I didn't have much time to explore the area what I saw would bring me back to the stables for another stay. Thank you to my hosts.
