Another fabulous stay at Carus Green. The accommodation is to a high standard and the service is fantastic. We had 8 of us for a golf holiday and enjoyed every minute. Self catering so get Sainsbury's to deliver your food and you don't need to worry about an over packed car either! The golf course is also a fantastic course located perfectly to play others like Windermere or Ulverston. Perfect base!

Booked for my husband's 60th. Accommodated the eight of us and the dog beautifully. Each couple had their own bathroom although the one by the front door was not ensuite but this was not a problem for us.The sofa is huge and we were all able it sit/stretchout comfortably. The townhouse is fitted out to a high standard and is well equipped. The staff were extremely helpful and sorted an issue with the sky box straight away. Lisa in particular went the extra mile, answering questions and providing recommendations for take out. My husband and I had lunch in the restaurant which was very nice.

We had a good one-night stay at lodge one. Our room was well-furnished with contemporary furnishings, a lovely big comfortable king bed, and a sizable bathroom with an overhead shower and separate bath. The grill restaurant's breakfast was excellent and reasonably priced at 4. 95 for mini english with toast the perfect size for us. I recommend it and will return!.

The atmosphere was lovely, just sad that we weren't allowed to sit in the lounge bar, which we would probably have probably been in every night. Over Christmas, we spent several nights here. The room was lovely, with a sizable bed and a sizable shower. It was cozy and pleasant. Yet, it was a little too warm at night! The heating appeared to be running all night. I tried to deduct it, but I don't believe it did anything. It wasn't just about the room. You had to make a reservation at the restaurant before ordering breakfast and then paying separately. We had a modest lunch there, and the meal was great. The personnel was very helpful. The first morning after arriving, we made a breakfast reservation. We spoke vegetarian and full English, both of which were excellent. Very excellent, and quite adequate in size. The beans came in a different pot, but they were cold, a distinct pot. Not sure if they meant to be? There is a lounge bar, but we were advised that there are no drinks there because it is for golf members. We couldnt just consume drinks if we were eating at the table because it was from 24 to 27. There were several people in the previous room. They were so loud above that we couldn't sleep well. We remained in the cabin room. There were two individuals in the opposing room

The rooms were well equipped, the bathroom was very gorgeous, and they have a great shower, and the personnel were friendly and helpful. And of course, we will never stay here again.
