The lady at the front desk is AWESOME, Malery, really friendly and great!!! I stay in hotels all over Kentucky, every week and, Malery is one of the best front desk personnel I have ever met! I will stay at this property every chance I get. Comfortable beds, wonderfully appointed decor and, amazing restaurant!!!!!

We were in area for Bourbon Trail and wanted to stay overnight in Bardstown. Looking at reviews we found this place. It was perfect, look past the outdated outside and cracked concrete parking lot as room was clean, quiet area, close to downtown and friendly check-in. Beds were comfortable, large pillows and nice renovated rooms and bathroom. Would stay there again when in the area.

Even though the pool wasn't open (due to unforeseen issues) it was a perfect spot. We plan to return again soon.

My mother and I stayed one evening at the Bardstown Motor Lodge in June 2026. The women that worked there were absolutely professional, friendly, helpful and fun! You can tell they enjoy their hospitality positions, and they do an amazing job. The property is well maintained, and the rooms are so clean. The courtyard and pool is such a relaxing and fun space. My mother and I ate dinner at the restaurant next to the lodge called Toogie’s Table (which we had to make a reservation - feels fancy). They treated us like royalty with their hospitality manners and the atmosphere was like something out of a magazine. Beautiful and the FOOD!!! It was delicious (and I’m a very picky eater). Our table was private, and I felt like my mother and I could speak freely. I would definitely stay there if in Bardstown again.

Staying at the motel was a unique experience. It reminded me of when I was a kid and we would stay at motels on vacation. The rooms are nicely updated while retaining the ambiance of staying at a motor lodge in the 60's. It was a very enjoyable experience. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The only issue we had was the room would get very warm at night, and when we adjusted the temperature on the thermostat, and eventually turned it off, the heat still came on, and the room remained very warm. I would highly reccommend the Bardstown Motor Lodge for people looking for a more interesting experience than a typical hotel.
