We love Big Sur and the Big Sur Lodge. Our room was very nice, clean, and comfortable. HOWEVER, we ran out of toilet paper and had to use kleenix on our last morning there. We also had to ask for clean towels and more coffee bags earlier in the week.

The cabin was wonderful! Small fridge and electric kettle in the cabin, small walk to community center for wifi, gas firepits, ice machine, and shared microwave. Definitely one of the best places we stayed on our trip!

Did not have hair dryer or air conditioner, but it was cool and had an amazing fan, and we had brought our own hair dryer

The lodge is exactly what we wanted. Set back off the main road, in the middle of the redwoods, and that 80s style summer camp vibes. No tv’s or wifi but the fire place and coffee in room gave a feeling of having everything we need. The check in process seemed frustrating for other patrons but staff was pleasant and accommodating. We will go back.

The onsite dinner was nice. Best feature was how quiet it was, and my run the next morning. The trail was as close as one could imagine it, and offered great views.

Check inn was later than 3:00pm due to room not being clean. Desk staff very courteous.

The rooms at the Big Sur lodge are spacious and homey. They all have fire places which is a cozy addition. The surrounding area is beautiful and it is nice that there are several hikes directly from the property. The addition of the other parks passes makes it easy to explore the area.

Our cottage was cozy and in a beautiful setting. My only complaints would be the low water pressure in the shower and MY BIGGEST COMPLAINT WOULD BE THE LINGERING SMELL FROM THE FIREPLACE. I understand fireplaces as i have one at home that i use frequently. However, the smell was so strong that it infiltrated my CPAP hosing and nasal pillow.

It had great hiking trails nearby. The room was bigger then I expected and the bed was comfortable. Pfeiffer State Beach was down the street which was very beautiful.

One of the most lovely weekends I’ve had in years. No Wi-Fi no television, I just loved it. The grounds are very peaceful. The room was large and accommodating great amenities.

Very comfortable stay in the beautiful forest. They provided recommendations to things to see nearby. It is simple and exactly what I expected.

I was surprised by the absence of a television, but that was actually good. It encouraged me to disconnect from the world and enjoy the natural surroundings. Otherwise, the room met all my needs. The restaurant served a very good burger. The salad with it was tasty and plentiful. I recommend staying there .
