We stayed with my family of 6 adults and 4 kids, and we thoroughly enjoyed the property. The access to the lake is convenient, the staff is friendly and the cottages are amazing. They have thought about every small detail. Would certainly come back.

I can not give enough stars. Our stay was top notch. Staff is woderful and accommodating. Everything was clean, beds are comfortable. From the pool to the 2 bars and lake you only have to walk maybe 40 ft. Huge bonfire on the beach once it got dark, drinks with the owner. How could anyone ask for more. Highly recommend!!!! We will be back!

The place and staff were amazing very clean. Jeff was on top of everything Haley was a wonderful bartender and Ty was just amazing best couple get away. Will stay again and recommend it to anyone who just wants to get away for a weekend off relaxation

Stayed at Buddys Harbor for 3 nights. Kids had a blast and enjoyed all the amenities with trampoline and pool. Hope to come back next year. Very family oriented.Pizza was delicious as well. They had everything we needed for our stay.Thanks for a great time Buddy’s Harbor!!

Loved the feel of this place. Everyone we dealt with seemed on board with making this a successful resort and making every guest feel welcomed. Loved the music that was pipeded throughout the resort, a nice mix with a jazzy mix that provides a vacation soundtrack. Fishing didn't pan out but we enjoyed ourselves despite that due to the ambiance of the place.

It was nice to relax after an all day/two day fishing competition on the lake. Comfortable bedding and cabin with all the basic amenities. One area of improvement would be the up-keep of the docks including brighter lighting and overall condition. Just a fresh coat of paint would do wonders! Will return again!

We had a great place. There was so much room. The full kitchen was so nice. We used it a lot and invited local friends over for drinks & dinner. It was nice to all be able to sit around the table. We brought in a couple of patio chairs and the 9 of us had plenty of room. The kids loved the pool and the swim area in the lake. I’m going to be back in 2 weeks and was a little sad that everything was booked.

This property had everything imaginable if you are wanting to go on a vacation especially if you're taking children. The property owners were so nice and we're willing to help you with everything. They were out side on site so you could find them anywhere and talk with them and ask questions. It was clean the cabins were cute. It offered canoeing boating the children loved the water trampoline they could not get enough of it. The playgrounds, every cabin they offer you a grill outside. I just can't say enough good about this experience.

I wanted to love it...I come to LO all the time and had never heard of this place. The listing showed tons of amenities... However the pictures looked way better than the actual property. Now that being said, it was the beginning of the season so maybe they just havent been able to fix everything yet...but...they were mid construction of something by the bar area...there was no "coffee shop" as the listing said, and no "multiple resterants"...several things it showed in the picture were not there,....the blow up trampoline, kayaks, pedal bike, and jet skis were not unwinterized yet...I also thought i was getting a water view and was so sad to find i was stuck in one of the only 2 cabins without a water view. Also, it seemed maybe the crowd here is for an older audience.. bummer. oh, And.l..there is not light to do your makeup anywhere near a mirror, or an outlet near a mirrror to do your hair...

I love the location of this property I have been coming here for 8 years with my family every year multiple times BUT the owners have changed and the new owners are controlling and follow you around, (The woman specifically) We had a friend come over for a birthday party and he was handicapped and the owner said I hope you blow yourself up because he was standing by the grill and she got in his face and asked him who are you here with not knowing he was handicapped she screamed in his face ( ive never met anyone so rude and disrespectful) everyone saw it. Care more about making money then actually providing good customer service. Very impersonable. They have changed everything check out time is earlier now and they came up with a million rules it doesn't have the original feel and family like atmosphere. Additions and rules for there own personal gain. You will be bothered and watched all day. Pay a high price for a day and half so I would expect to be left alone. We always clean the room extra spotless and respectful to property! I think there is potential if they let people get their moneys worth and back off a little and just be respectful and kind! very simple.!!!!!
