Everything was great. Hotel is clean. And it offers great amenities. Great location too. Right on the water and walking distance to resteraunts and shops. Breakfast has a large option for everyone. And the pool and hot tub were great. They even do smores in the evening. We have stayed here multiple times and will definitely be back. Our trip was cut short by the smoke from the fires and the staff was very understanding. We did not want to go but it was affecting out lungs.

The Lodge was wonderful! Indoor pool with sauna was incredible. Breakfast was amazing. Clean rooms, beautiful lobby, and every staff member was kind and helpful! Totally great!!!

Canal Park Lodge was not simply a hotel. It was a lantern-lit keep at the edge of the great inland sea. Our kinfolk arrived in Duluth after a long northern voyage, road-worn, snack-battered, and tested by miles of weather, wandering, and family travel. Then the lodge appeared. Warm and welcoming by Lake Superior, it stood like a safe stronghold against wind, waves, and weary feet. Our room became a chamber of restoration. Clean, calm, and comfortable, it received our fellowship like adventurers returning from the wild. Bags dropped like armor. Shoes fell like foes. Peace returned to the realm, and the next quest felt possible. The location felt enchanted. From this mighty base camp, Canal Park opened like a living map. The lake, boardwalk, shops, restaurants, ships, stones, and great lift bridge were all within reach. No grand march. No summoning the family wagon for every expedition. Lake Superior watched over it all like an ancient blue titan, deeper than memory and wider than legend. Morning light turned the water silver. Evening winds carried the songs of ships, gulls, stone, and old northern magic. The staff were gracious keepers of the hall, offering kindness, ease, and welcome to travelers in need of refuge. Canal Park Lodge became our harbor, our hearth, and our home between adventures. Five stars, gladly given. May every traveler who crosses its threshold find soft beds, strong coffee, kind welcomes, and a Duluth voyage worthy of being carved into legend.

Canal Park Lodge is an excellent place to stay when in the Duluth area. Great rooms, staff and breakfast. Easy to walk to many businesses.

Lake view room has a gorgeous view; staff were friendly; hotel is very welcoming - rustic looking. We LOVED the breakfast- WOW - have never had such a good complimentary breakfast. The fire pit was the awesome. Great shops and restaurants close by. Short day trip to see waterfalls and do some hiking. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
