I would be interested in returning in the summer, and Id love to see the two log cabins. From the airport to the motel, it only took about an hour to reach by air. It is easily accessible in Oxford, conveniently situated on 39 and not far from the tells, but without a doubt out of the broader marketplace. The king room where we stayed was spotless. The room was pleasant to look at. It is, as far as I know, under new management. It is not attractive to remain in chain hotels, but it has character. There is a seating space as well as a fridge and microwave in the king room. The warmth was fantastic! It was beautiful and quiet in the morning frost. The birdfowlers were active. As we drove off for brunch at franny mays, we discovered a deer on the property.

For future ski weekends, I will most certainly keep that in mind! I wanted to ski at both Cascade and Nordic Mountains over the weekend and was looking for a place to link the two. This motel is unique and inviting. It doesn't have superhipster decor, but it is cool in its own way. It is immaculate. The linens and towels were extremely soft! It's not in a busy area, and the owners are onsite, so I felt secure and if an outside entry is a hard no for you, it may not work. It is off the highway, but there are sufficient trees to minimize road noise. Despite the vintage decor, which I really liked, especially the swag lamps over the sink vanity, there are modern conveniences like a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and bedside lamp with usb connectivity to charge your phone. The proprietors are knowledgeable about the area and can also recommend dining, etc..

This is an old motel, small, quiet, and peaceful. The room was spotless, much more so than hotel rooms of a big chain. Mints, breakfast bars, and bottled water in the room were a nice touch. The owner lives on site and was very nice and helpful. Parking at the door is always a plus, just walk in with your bag and that's it! Recommended staying at this motel, well be back for sure.

Overall, a pleasant and reasonably priced stay. The motel is quiet and isolated, and the cost was affordable. The simplest items were in place, but if you prefer them to be separate amenities, bring your own shampoo, conditioner, or someone to wash. The appliances, including the large and small refrigerators, microwaves, hair dryers, and lamps, are all in good working order. The rooms are clean, if a little dated, but the owners were cheerful and having seasonal flowers in bloom and decorations up. Even though we weren't allowed to use the fire pit, it appeared to be inviting. The hosts were welcoming and unobtrusive.
