This lodge is very charming and especially pet-friendly. The staff and visitors are friendly and lively. Families enjoyed swimming, and the office sold many affordable drinks and snacks, eliminating the need to visit a liquor store. The room was clean, with no carpet, and the blankets had been washed. It featured a kitchen, fridge, microwave, and dishes. It was simple but complete for our needs. My dogs loved their walks, and Big Bear is beautiful any time of year. There is an EV charger available for a fee. Breakfast options are basic coffee, fruit, and pastries. The price was reasonable, and I appreciated the convenient location close to Big Bear Village, where many activities take place. I will definitely return.

The room was perfect for one night stay for me. The little place was cute. It was nice to be up in the mountains for a change. That’s my favorite place to be. I will definitely be back to the fireside Inn again.

The place is older so don’t expect everything to be brand new but, it’s clean and cozy. Lots of heaters, fireplace, hot tub in room and in the middle for pricing. Staff is very helpful and was available to help us with the tv and fireplace. Definitely recommend but don’t hit for persons with super high expectations. We had a great time and will be back in the future.

I loved this property. Very clean, close to main street and to other attractions. Room was clean and had air conditioner. Location was perfect. Staff was helpful and check in was fast.

I’ve been coming here for years. Suites with lake views and real fireplaces, at an affordable cost. It’s also a short walk to the center of town with restaurants and shops.

This stay was absolutely amazing. The staff was perfect as well as curtious, accommodating and friendly. Even when the mountain was closed down, they made the stay pleasant and fun. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a pleasant place to visit.

room was very cozy. only complaint is that i wish there was something filling the gap between the bed and wall because our pillows kept falling through. staff was very friendly and helpful. when our fireplace wasn’t working they came and fixed it within 5 minutes of me calling. it’s a nice property right by the village and a short walk from the lake. would book again
