The cabins were very clean and the host was wonderful to talk with. They took care of us and the bathrooms were nice and comfortable. Nice views and quiet area to sit and we got to watch a crazy thunderstorm!!

This was a great place to stay for the week! Really had everything we needed like wood for fire and even utensils for the grill just small things you don’t think you’ll need!! Such lovely hosts Michelle, and Larry were!!

Im not sure, but maybe the number Google has might be wrong. I tried to call to let them know I would be arriving late but as far as I know, it was not received. All turned out well! The host left the foor unlocked and the outside light on. Nice! Loved being welcomed by the chipmunks in the morning...and the host too! Great, quiet spot in the beautiful Black Hills! Thank you Larry!

The hosts have thought of everything. We were in what is called a basic cabin, (we had #11) however, it is anything but basic! The queen bed is super comfortable with wonderful linens. There is room on both sides of the bed, with one side having a nightstand and the other a small table and two chairs. Their use of shelving and a bench helped provide places for towels, washcloths, coffee maker, a microwave, freezer/refrigerator, TV, videos, toaster, etc.... It may be a small space, but it was mighty in what it had to offer. The chairs on the front porch were a perfect place to start the day while drinking hot tea and taking in the fresh mountain air. Please note that the bathrooms are unattached shared spaces - all four of them have a sink, shower and toilet with a private door you can lock. They also have three units (I believe) with bathrooms in them in their lodge area. The hosts are very kind and will answer any questions you may have and do whatever they can to accommodate your needs. Their cabins are a short distance from Deadwood and right off of 385 so easy to get on the road to travel through the beautiful Black Hills. Thank you for providing this space!

I really enjoyed this stay. It is the first time I have stayed in a cabin without a bathroom, but they were located nearby, so it was not a problem. Very clean too. They thought of everything when outfitting these cabins, were so friendly, and that was so appreciated. There were grills and chairs on the front porches and the cabins included cooking utensils (paper plates, steak knives, foil, baggies, cups, plastic forks/knives/spoons, coffee pot, sugar, creamer, salt, pepper, paper towels). They were pet-friendly and almost all of the people staying there had dogs. It was an amazing experience and I will definitely stay here again.

The cabin was small but we had everything we needed & the bathhouses were very clean. Our dog was allowed in the cabin which we loved. They had free firewood, firepit, grill & patio chairs. They provided towels & if we needed anything all we had to do was ask. The managers came over & met us & they let us look in some of the empty cabins for the next trip out. It was a very enjoyable trip!

I ordered these tickets for my parents, and all I know was that my mom and dad were super pleased about the stay here, and that they will choose this place all the time from now on. My mom messaged me when she got to SD, and she is like Ryan I have never stayed at a clean cabin before at my time coming to SD. My parents go on vacation to South Dakota annually. So, expect to see my parents for next year. Thank you!
