The room was dirty, the shower water was cold, and I paid for early check-in but was not able to check in at the time I was promised. Overall, the stay did not meet expectations, especially given that I paid extra for a service that was not properly honored. Cleanliness, communication, and basic room comfort all need improvement

Expedia listed this as a hotel. It is NOT a hotel, it is very similar to a hostel. Shared common spaces, bathrooms, etc. For what it was (if you knew what you were signing up for), it wasn't terrible. Pretty worn down, you can hear EVERYTHING inside and outside the building, and the hall/stairs smelled very musty. There was one bathroom for our entire floor of at least 6 bedrooms. The sheets were clean, the staff responded to messages really quickly and helpfully, and it was a place to put our belongings. I booked within the 14 days where you can't get a refund. But when I searched, I specified "hotel" because I did NOT want a B&B, air B&B, etc. I should have looked at Grand House's website. They state they are not a hotel. The bigger issue is that Expedia had them under their hotel search and I trusted that they knew what a hotel was.

This is NOT a hotel in the strictest term of the word, more like a Pension. Bathroom was shared, with a communal kitchen area, NO smoke detectors in individual rooms, NO working ventian blinds on window! 1 light worked in my room, had to move the bed to find a place to charge my cellphone. Room was clean, building was very secure, BRING EARPLUGS street outside is very noisy.

I didn't receive anything that comes with a hotel room and no room service the floors were dusty and dirty and dirt was under the bed stains on the chair and pillow cases i didn't have any wash cloths and i was given a small space heater and a thin blanket the room overall was uncomfortable and i was itchy from sleeping in that bed and i was still cold i couldn't take a shower because the water never got hot enough just barely warm to the touch and construction workers were working late and kept me up and I had to pay a early entry fee that I didn't know i had to pay and i would never stay in that place again one of my worst stays in a hotel ever

Very dirty room, dead roaches, dust everywhere, bad area around of building with homeless people, dirty bed with no pillowcases and sheet, very noisy around. Not recommended, even for one night, even for one men. Its just disgusting.

🚨SCAM ALERT🚨 Booked one room for a night. Check in starts at 3 and I arrived at 4. One person was on site and he was about to leave. He showed me to “my room” that looked nothing like the one I booked. I was supposed to get a simple clean room. Instead I got a dirty room that looked like it was put together with items from the garbage. First the red carpet, that wasn’t included in the pictures, was full of lint and specks of dirt. It was worse when I checked under the bed frame. Second the towels were so dirty they had brown yellow and black spots and splashes on them. The cover was also red with yellow and orange stains. When I uncovered the mattress it was so dirty that it was black on the sides. The room had a window connecting it to another room. It was covered with wrapping paper that has heart on it. And the vent facing the bed was uncovered. I felt so uncomfortable. After informing the person on site the manager, that was only available via text, thought he would solve this issue by offering new towels. I walked out and never came back.

I paid for parking and my spot was taken when I got back so I was left with NO PARKING. You can only communicate with the team via text and it took them hours to even try to resolve it and since I was already very unimpressed with the room/weird creepy hole in the ceiling/bed/filthy bathroom with a tub that wasn't draining I just left. Do yourself a favor and just pay a bit more for a hotel with staff who can assist you if things go wrong. This is is not it!!
