1st class stay on Nantucket and unbeatable location. Stayed in a King Family Room. The couch folded out, so 3 could sleep comfortably in the room. Staff was extremely helpful. Two things we really loved were being able to store our suitcases before and after check in and getting a ride down to the dock for the return ferry. Breakfast was delicious too.

If you’re going to Nantucket and looking for a conveniently located place to stay, you won’t find anything better than the Jared Coffin House. When we arrived at the ferry, I called the hotel and they sent their courtesy vehicle down to pick up all of our items and we were able to walk around town until our hotel room was ready. For the rest of the trip it was so nice to have a place close by to go in the middle of the day to use the restroom before we continue doing whatever we needed to do. The staff from beginning to end was absolutely incredible and would do anything that you asked them to do. We also enjoyed The Tap Room for a mid-day drink, and the food was great too! In the morning, we would sit in the booths next to hydrangeas and enjoy our meal in the perfect weather. The Jared Coffin House also happens to back right up to the Hunky Dory House which features one of the most photogenic spots! This was my second time staying, and I don’t think I’ll stay anywhere else when I visit.

This is a great spot in the BEST location on Nantucket. You don't need a car at all if you're staying here. Just use the WAVE bus to get cross-island. This is an historic hotel, so if you want NEW and CRISP this isn't it. But I love the heritage feel, and was extremely cozy in my room. Thanks!

We are very pleased with our stay at the Jared Coffin House. This hotel is in a great location, only a short walk from the Whaling Museum and the main shopping area of town. It also offers a wide variety of complementary services including a delicious breakfast, bicycles, umbrellas, and beach items. The staff were very cheerful and helpful, as well. Given the historic nature of the building, we were pleasantly surprised by its modern amenities. We will definitely look to stay here on our next trip to the island!

Wonderful, warm, welcoming staff. There is no elevator, but the bellman was friendly and helpful. They offered many services we didn't take advantage of, such as beach gear, a shuttle around town and bicycles. The breakfast setup was a little odd - there was plenty to eat, lots of choices, real cutlery and dishes, but since it was set up in the parlor or sitting room, there were only coffee tables available so one had the sensation of eating from your lap. We loved the comfortable bed, the lovely, quiet, cool room and the 19th century ambiance, as well as the lovely staff. The property was also conveniently located in town without being too noisy. Great stay!

We had a fabulous stay here! The staff was absolutely amazing with a special shout out to Omelia for being so good to us! The breakfast was perfect, we rented bikes and beach chairs complimentary from the front desk and a man was able to help with luggage up and down the stairs. There is a bar and restaurant below “The Tap Room” which made for a very convenient and entertaining end of the night cocktail. Greg and Megan were great bartenders! Our room was clean and every day they organized anything we took off hangers and or tidied up loose clothes. Its proximity to the Main Street is about 4 “baby baby blocks” and just a perfect spot to walk to town and numerous restaurants. I highly recommend this place, we stayed for a week and enjoyed it so much. Thank you to all of the wonderful staff! We had the best time!

Great property with an A+++ staff. Location is excellent and rooms are clean and comfortable but the staff is the key. Super helpful and incredibly nice. Couldn't recommend the Jared coffin house any higher!

The hotel had comfortable rooms in a perfect location with easy access to all the town has to offer. The staff were friendly and accommodating and provided car service within one mile. The breakfast in the morning was a nice way to start the day. We will definitely be back!
