Such a cozy and romantic atmosphere. We built a fire with help from staff who had everything for us. Dinner was fabulous and reasonably priced for the area. Best scallops I’ve ever had! Our server was very friendly and informative. We were celebrating the anniversary of our first trip together 8 years ago. We will be back!

This is a beautiful property, tucked up above the river. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. If you walk down to the river, they have a phone where you can call for the shuttle to pick you up. The wood burning stove in the room was amazing. It was so enjoyable to relax with a fire. The room was large and the bed was very comfortable. The restaurants are good and reasonably priced for an Alaskan hotel meal. Service at the casual bar/restaurant was exemplary. We did not experience the other restaurant. Since I knew ahead of time there wasn't a fridge in the room, we came prepared with a portable cooler and ice was conveniently available outside of the next building. The only downside was that WiFi was only available in the main lodge and the public area was pretty small. I wish the lack of WiFi in the rooms had been better noted, but I would stay again without WiFi. The rest of the stay was near perfect.

Our stay at the Kenai Princess Lodge was outstanding and exceeded our expectations. The property is absolutely beautiful, with breathtaking views of the Kenai River and surrounding mountains that made every morning and evening memorable. The lodge itself was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. We especially loved the unique design of the rooms. The wood-burning stove added so much character and created a warm, cozy atmosphere that made our stay feel even more special. It was a wonderful touch that set the lodge apart from other places we’ve stayed. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with recommendations or answer questions, making us feel valued throughout our stay. One of the highlights was simply relaxing on the deck overlooking the river. The peaceful setting and incredible scenery made it the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring Alaska. The location is also excellent, providing easy access to many of the area’s attractions while still feeling like a quiet retreat. Overall, we had an excellent experience and would highly recommend the Kenai Princess Lodge to anyone visiting Alaska. The combination of spectacular scenery, comfortable accommodations, unique rooms, and exceptional service made this one of the highlights of our trip. We would gladly stay here again.

Beautiful setting, quiet, easy walk down to the river. Rooms are huge and very comfortable. Dinner and drinks in the bar were great.

Our room was very clean, and I enjoyed that the sink and mirror for the bathroom was separate from the shower area. This setup was helpful because while my family was showering, I could be finishing up getting ready at the same time. The staff was very kind and helpful. Our dinner was delicious, probably the best food we’ve had during the 17 days of our vacation!
