View, lake view Balcony Staff were very polite and attentive Even tho facility is somewhat dated, rooms were clean and well maintained Negative to room was damp smell . Needed air freshener or dehumidifier on rotation when room not occupied. Breakfast could be improved upon. Perhaps Ability to make a waffle ; better variety of fresh fruit ( seasonal) We would stay again at this facility

Staff was very helpful and nice. Rooms were clean. Bed to us was hard and uncomfortable but overall everything was nice. Breakfast was good too.

It was a great stay except for the beds. They are very soft move around a lot your partner will feel it. The beds were also very springy and old feeling. My back was not happy. Other than that it was great!

We come every year if possible, husband raised here before his teens & when he brought me here the 2nd time around the 90’s I feel in love with Hiawassee & the people. We love to stay only here (Lake Chatuge Lodge) & sit on balcony & see Lake Chatuge, a few years ago the trees were cut above closer to lake to see the lake more but this trip they need to be trimmed closer to the lake again as this is 1 of our highlights staying here. Thanks Lake Chatuge Lodge for making our stay WONDERFUL! 😀

Das Hotel hat durch das geräumige Lobby mit Kamin und Sofas gleich einen schönen Eindruck gemacht. Die Aussicht auf Chatuga Lake muss aus einigen Zimmern grandiös sein. Unser Zimmer hatte zwar keine schöne Aussicht auf den See, war aber gross, sauber und angenehm. Die Betten waren gemütlich, das Bad war sauber und geräumig. Ein solides Hotel , gern wieder!

They do not serve hot breakfast during weekdays. The only fault with the accommodations was the low toilet, especially for older people. The staff was friendly, polite and helpful.

The staff was amazing, especially Destiny. She helped make sure my son got gluten-free items at breakfast and made great suggestions for other meals and activities. Breakfast is basic continental but the staff makes sure it's stocked and fresh. The room was clean and very easily accessible through the patio door straight to the parking lot. The location of the hotel was excellent. It was close to a variety of restaurants and a short drive from Helen, GA. Great mountain views from the room and the lobby. The hotel was so quiet we were able to enjoy reading on the couch and played a game in the breakfast area one evening. The bathroom could use a bit of an update. Wallpaper was coming off on a couple corners and sink could be replaced. We definitely plan to return.

We were very pleased. Our room was spacious and clean. Staff was kind and helpful. Continental breakfast was simple but very adequate. The location is a place of beauty and is accessible to daytrips into the beautiful Georgia and North Carolina mountains. Unfortunately, we did not have enough time to go to all the many wonderful local restaurants that were on our list. We will definitely plan to stay here again.
