Really great place to stay inside the national park. Compared to the Holiday Inn Express and a few other similar basic hotels waaay outside the park entrance, the price was reasonable. Our room was a double queen with a generous kitchenette: large microwave, medium fridge/freezer, small stove top. Equipped with plates, bowls, glasses, flatware & cooking utensils, and towels. Even a tiny thing of dishwasher liquid! We also enjoyed the little terrace as it was lovely temps during our stay.(Our building was "Trilobite"). The entire property & room was exceptionally clean-- very important to me. The decor was "natl park chic," ala 1960s, but it worked. Very conveniently located to the actual Canyon and shuttle buses--less than 5 min walk. Also has a large cafeteria with variety of food choices, all of which were pretty good. Staff were also fantastic‐-with the one exception of the woman at the cash register at the village market. Oh well. Strongly recommend!!

The check-in process was easy, the room was very close to the main lodge. Our room was very clean and well-appointed. Some of the USB plugs built in to the nightstand were broken, but otherwise everything in the room worked as intended. Other amenities such as the ice maker were very close to the room and easy to access, and access to the park buses was a short 2-3 minute walk from our door.

Great property, excellent location to the Canyon and restaurants. We parked the truck and spent 4 days on for hiking and eating.

Impressed! Perfect location! Room was large and quiet. Loved that we had a balcony and could allow the breeze into the room. Good dining choices just a few steps away. Shuttle was useful!

Happy we stayed in the park, it’s a short walk to trails and the Rim, we saw elk and hummingbirds and other birds. The room itself was spacious and clean. Enjoyed early morning tea on the balcony. We would stay there again without hesitation.

Loved all the shuttle buses and a bus stop right outside the hotel. Hotel is located a short walk to the Bright Angle Trailhead making it easy to hike in the morning.

Easy check in and check out process. Lodge was clean, great location in the park. Shuttle buses were available and they Wookiee us all over the park. Some drivers offered great comments along the routes, including stopping to see wildlife. Food court and pizza place were a great option for meals. Would definitely recommend Maswik!

Was on property for purpose of 50 anniversary of our 1976 GC Hang Gliding flight...5 pilots. The young man at the front desk was exceptional in checking us in & out. Wish I could remember his name. Did not use property amenities or restaurant this trip. Room was very clean & better then I'd remembered from past stays. This is my favorite accommodation on the South Rim.
