We had such a great stay. So quiet and secluded in nature! We saw deer and many other wildlife on the property. Tons of songbirds and butterflies everywhere. Chipmunks! Only a 2 minute drive to the cute little town Marlinton which had anything we needed including some good little coffee shops and pubs. We even stopped eating out the last few meals so we could cook in the cabin and enjoy some meals in it. The cabin we had was so comfortable and had everything you could possibly need. Spent a lot of time sitting on the porch and enjoying nature. The hosts are very accommodating and had the cabin ready and spotless for us! Thank you Caley!!

We loved our stay at the Patton cabin. Very quaint, quiet & peaceful. The efficiency kitchen had everything we needed, bed was comfortable, everything was clean. My husband and I had a very relaxing few days here.

The Moore House is an excellent place to stay for a very quiet vacation. It is close enough to Marlington for daily amenities and is a reasonable drive to Cass and SnowShoe. The owners are great people. The property is very clean and well-maintained. Breakfast every day consists of assorted bagels, muffins, baked goods, cereals, juices, coffee and fresh fruit. This was my second stay and won't be my last. Highly recommend.

Moore House was very easy to find. All directions and instructions sent by the owners were easy to follow. The room was perfectly clean and just what was expected. We didn’t meet the owners until the day after arrival. Very nice and willing to talk for a bit. Breakfast in the morning was just as described and the coffee was hot. We didn’t inquire about the hot tub, but it was present. After a couple of incidents from other guests, Caley was very calm and cool and ready to work with all involved to reach a good outcome. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

Hello, Stayed 2 nights in the compact full room upstairs. It is newly renovated and I was the 1st guest. There was plenty of room for me to move around comfortably. The lighting was sufficient and the window provided enough natural light. There were sufficient number of hangers. Bed was firm and comfortable and the comforter was very warm on the 1st night and just right on the 2nd night when it was colder. There was a extra heavier blanket that was good for the 1st night. The bathroom is on the smaller side and is as shown in the photos. It is enough to use it for what it is needed for. Plenty of hot water and towels. The room opened to the outdoor patio which has a nice view and would have made for a good spot to enjoy a morning cup of coffee...if it was not as cold and rainy. There were other guests in the inn but it was quite and only saw them during breakfast. Breakfast was...bagels, english muffin, fruits, yougurt, oatmeal packets etc.. enough for a good start in the morning and the coffee and tea are available through out the day. The narrower stairs to the upstairs room are not a problem with smaller luggage and there is plenty of light through out the house. There are books and puzzles if you don't want to watch TV or be outside. The wi-fi was good and was needed as the cell service was choppy. It was wonderful to wake up listening to the birds in the morning. The host is very responsive. This is a wonderful place to stay among nature.

The Patton cabin was an excellent experience from start to finish and we will definitely be back! They coordinated with us before we got there and made sure everything was ready for our late arrival. The place was very clean and spacious for two. The fire was so cozy to have in the bedroom.

We stayed in a room at the Inn, which was beautifully decorated, clean, cozy and very comfortable. The owner was inviting and made us feel so welcomed. She provided recommendations for a place to eat dinner, which was also very good, and she had a great selection of breakfast items to choose from in the morning! The hot tub was amazing. The fireplace in the living room was amazing. We were perfectly comfortable the entire stay. Loved the views all around the cabin. Loves the proximity to town. Owners were amazing. Very quick responses and very accommodating. I highly recommend if you are in the area and need a place to stay to book with them.
