We were very impressed with the accommodations. The furniture, decor, kitchen was well equipped for a weekend getaway. The suite was perfect for 2 people and our teen slept on the couch, but ended up in the massive king bed alongside us the second night. The Lodge is a cool area for recreating and the bar (opening soon) was a hip little addition—LOVE the ceiling. We enjoyed eating on the back patio in the evening and we even had a visit from a black bear while sitting just outside the back door one evening. It made it’s way to the neighbors quickly. We had dinner in town at Frida’s, lunch at Angel’s Cafe, drinks at the open bar (family friendly) next door to Frida’s along with shopping the boutiques. Took a dip at the cove on Lake Burton which was very refreshing on a warm day. Meeting the owners we learned about what was coming soon:opening the bar, restaurant and adding fun additions to the lodge for camping/glamping. Would be a great family getaway spot or even a business getaway.

Overall a great last minute stay. Very nice decor. Only a few things I'd suggest for unit 1: clean cobwebs from door entries, clean outdoor furniture, couch cushions worn out/no support (but clean), put some quarter-round on the transition strip between living room and kitchenette bec we tripped over that block of wood a few times. Fixable! A few stones in the path were sunken/cracked and may be a hazard esp in the dark. There was no odor, linens were clean, kitchenette stocked for basic food prep, lighting was enough to see at night, the bed is super high and short people may need a stool but it was comfy. We did not see any amenities on site bec it was not clear where they were since there were other cabins on the property. Make sure to come with food bec you don't have much nearby if you have a specific diet. If you are ok w burgers or fried foods you'll be ok. Definitely would go again and pack more of my needed items next time but really great job on the design.

This place has it all. Clean comfortable lodging. The cabin was well equipped with everything you would need for a few nights stay. The owner was available in case you needed something. And of course, the most important part was security kitty. Easy to get to Helen, Clayton, and downtown Clarkesville from the cabin location. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

The entire vibe was so weighing and cozy. I haven't slept that good in years and I usually struggle to sleep on vacation. It was the perfect distance from everything we wanted to enjoy on our trip.

We stayed in the suite and it was perfect. The unit was tastefully decorated and the attention to detail was wonderful. The entire facility was we maintained and inviting. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for a night on a trip down south, and we were blown away with how nice the room and property were. The owners were extremely generous and provided us with smores to cook with our kids in the fireplace in the covered porch area. Couldn't recommend this place enough

December Anniversary trip. Loved the Christmas decorations in every room! Renovations created a lovely upscale stay, super comfortable bedding, lots of extras in the kitchen (Nespresso made amazing coffee!!!), and the electric fireplace made a cozy end to our day. Would love to return with friends to take advantage of outdoor areas!

Room was good, clean and beautiful decorated for Christmas time. Little bit bothered us presence of some flying smelly bugs, maybe owner can get rid of them somehow. The rest was amazing! Amenities and all!

Property was clean, but we ran out of hot water once, and since the wifi was out, there was no one to contact.

Drink and snack purchases self pay. Hiwever unable to gain access to wifi (router was in the cabin but low to near floor) so unable to obtain access to apps like venmo and unable to gain access to TV apps. Air frier avaiable but did not utilize. Stay was peaceful and slept well. One room plus bathroom Cabin close to the road but not disturbed by traffic. Would rent again for one night which was the case here as planned. It served its purpose for us.
