I took a day trip to St. Augustine with my partner and we stayed at this inn. It’s in the heart of the historic center of St. Augustine so we did not have to drive once since we got there. The room was very clean and well decorated. The amenities were great, and the breakfast was amazing. The staff were super kind as well. I would return to this inn should my travels lead to st. Augustine again.

We had the BEST time staying here! The property is absolutely adorable and full of history. Every room looked beautiful, but we chose to stay in “Splendid Time,” and it was perfect. The location is amazing, and the hospitality truly couldn’t be beat. Every member of the staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and accommodating. The breakfast was to die for—so fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared! We loved every minute of our stay and would come back again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend this wonderful place!

Difficult to describe how terrific is this place. From the entrance, to the main lobby. All the amenities. The staff. Bedroom and the breakfast. It’s a five stars. Amazing location. 5 minutes walking from all the main historic points. I would recommend this hotel for e everyone I know

I absolutely love the customer service. They really take pride in their beautiful house. We were there this past week and everything was nice and clean. We were welcomed with a glass of vine to start our vacation. Breakfast was delicious! The property is very close to everything. Just park your car, and walk everywhere. We will definitely come back again!

非常喜欢这家B&B，也是第一次住这类型的酒店。地点一流非常便利在古城边大学边，有自己的停车场是非常加分项。早饭很精致，员工非常友好热情，很喜欢。

Charm and location. The room we stayed in was truly like being home (we live in an 1892 Victorian) and we instantly fell in love with the decor. Unlike the "brand name" lodgings that we've become accustomed to The Powder House was the antithesis of the sterile institutional cookie cutter banality. The "staff" was charming, beyond hospitable, and very proud of the quality of the experience created for the quests. One comes to St. Augustine because of the history and a desire to go back in time and the Powder House instantly set the tone for a wonderful weekend. The breakfast we were served was gourmet quality and after years of eating on Styrofoam and plastic it was a treat to eat on plates and silverware. My only observation which many people might find a problem was the size of the lavatory whish was rather small but had a charm of its' own (our Victorian shares those same qualities, it truly was like being home}. We'll stay there again assuming that readers of this review don't book them up solid until the Second Coming.

Stay on the edge of Old Town St. Augustine....totally walkable to all the sites, shops and shoreline, including Lions Bridge and more. Yet be pampered in a well-cared-for inn by a staff who look out for all your comforts and enjoyment. Felt like a welcome step back in time in the best of ways!

I LOVED our stay at the Powder House! The breakfast was the best I’ve had at any bed and breakfast. Made from scratch, quality ingredients, just phenomenal. The rooms were beautifully decorated and the covered porches were great places to sit and relax with a drink. The location is great-so close to everything. I don’t want to stay anywhere else in St. Augustine!
