I was pleasantly surprised! A country, secluded feel, overlooking a lake. Beautiful deck with plenty of seating. The room was clean and great location! I will definitely be back.

What a gem this place is! it is an older property but it is well maintained and the deck/beach area was awesome. We will be back.

We loved this hotel! It fools you when you pull in then you open the door to a very cozy cabin room. The back door opens to a beautiful lake. My only suggestion would be to put one at the other end of the deck. Everyone uses the table right outside of room 15. We were kept awake all night a few times and also had people sitting there talking loudly and laughing loudly at 6am. That was frustrating guests but the hotel was awesome!

A clean, well maintained property with a 10/10 water front porch perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning. There are even kayaks and paddle boats available for use! Will not look anywhere else for a room while going to Pine Knob- would highly recommend for anyone staying in the Clarkston area!

I was hesitant when I pulled up cause the outside could use some updating. We had the corner queen size suite which was huge, updated and looked amazing! We had a great night stay!

It was a beautiful place. Too bad the weather didn’t allow us to enjoy that beautiful lake and deck!

Quaint, old-school rooms, reminiscent of the 50's Bates Motel. Efficiency kitchen included a single-unit stove and sink, with a small fridge underneath. Room was clean and comfortable. The big draw didn't disappoint: a large porch ran along the back of half the rooms of the property and was right on the water's edge. Folks were fishing off the porch all day, some of them successfully. Lots of friendly strangers just hanging out together on the water. It was unexpectedly cool.

Always love staying here. Great location convenient to lots of stuff but then right out the back is a beautiful little lake. Rooms are always very clean and the staff is very helpful and friendly. We have been twice and will definitely come back.

Very cozy and relaxing! The room itself very clean and felt like a little cabin, had everything we needed. Loved the full kitchen! We had a water view and it was just so beautiful and we spent some time right outside our room on the big deck just listening to the water and ducks/geese pass by. If we have to come back to the area again we will definitely be staying here!

Room was very clean, completely new spotless bathroom. Loves the deck and dock out in the water right the back door of the room!
