From the time booking we would get random emails with other clients information on them from Pensacola beach Properties. This was not the management company of the resort, Portofino. I had emailed 2 weeks prior to check in to confirm and make sure all the information was correct and anything needed. Mekayla sent an email back and asked for pic of driver license and I sent. She replied back all is good and ready to check in. I arrive at the resort and go to check in, they have no reservation for me and my name is not found anywhere even though I have the confirmation number. The resort management company, Portofino, reaches out to Pensacola after waiting on hold, etc.. Whoever booked the reservation put in his name and his number. Isn't that concerning? No one could seem to know the answer and kept blaming others. Then Pensacola text me and when I responded to text said this text does not receive communication. truly the process was so messed up and frustrating!!! I have no kind words and first time to Pensacola left an awful taste. After a couple of hours the resort sorted the issue out and we got into the condo. Upon opening the door, the condo was very worn and needed updating and the pictures are deceiving. The rug was frayed, the dishwasher did not clean the dishes after numerous washes, the icemaker did not work. We had them come and look at icemaker, could not fix it and put 2 bags of ice in freezer and left the door open to freezer. not a good experience.
