We were satisfied with the price, location, and studio space. It fit our budget & we made the accommodations work for us. PROS: The neighborhood was FABULOUS. Great location- short drive to downtown restaurants/ bars/ bakeries/ attractions. Close to the FWY. The shower (water pressure/ temp) was perfect. Ample lighting. Having a washer/ dryer, hot plate, conventional oven, fridge, A/C & bathroom fan made the difference for us. CONS: No curtains- we hung up towels so we could sleep/ shower/ dress comfortably. Poor ventilation- damp & humid especially with the rain. Opening windows & having running fans helped. Appreciated the host getting someone there to fix the ceiling leak. No indication there was a step to bathroom as it blended in with the rest of the floor- poses a safety issue. Lastly- there was a permanent, pungent, moldy smell coming from the shower? or shower curtain? Again, the fan helped. We also had febreeze & lysol wipes on hand. We appreciated the host's responsiveness & 30 minute late check out acommodation.

No Toaster, no iron, small double bed, broken screen door to the deck, no light on the deck just an extension cord to bring out a lamp. Parked on street as there were other guests coming and going. Place was nice and clean with lots of windows but were difficult to open, painted shut or not easy to use. No a/c but the ceiling fans worked well and it cooled down at night so not too bad. No wine glasses so we used regular glasses. Nice residential neighborhood with a few breakfast restaurants nearby

Very clean and in a great location in Austin! The place was stocked well with towels, paper towels and toilet paper! It even had foil and storage bags! Kitchen could have been stocked better! No bowls for cereal, no can opener or colander! No dishwasher! ! Instructions for the oven! I didn't know how to operate it and the instructions were not adequate! It didn't have a microwave unless the oven was a combination of a convection oven and microwave, but i don't think so! Communication was good! I had an issue with the thermostat and a leaking sink and a repair technician was sent over promptly to handle the problem' . The bed was very comfortable and the furniture was beautiful! I was irritated that the plumber just unlocked the door and came in without knocking and i wasnt notified that he was on his way over! Parking was basically on the street ! I couldn't always park on the driveway since other tenants didn't pull up enough to allow another car to park at the top of the driveway! The washer and dryer was an added bonus. It was nice being able to wash clothes before I left for home ! But i would stay again! Great little apartment in a great central and safe neighborhood in Austin! And at a great price also!

Un peu déçue , on a mal dormi. C’est vraiment petit . Pas de four à micro-ondes. Pas de rideaux ou volets . La lumière extérieure reste tout le temps allumé. Aucun contact avec le propriétaire. Point positif : la machine à laver , la décoration

The garage conversion to a casita is pretty good, the reason we are rating it average is the lack of privacy. The blinds, if you can call them that, offer no privacy. There are no curtains or any other type of blind to close. You are able to see into theentite sleeping/living area from the street. This also means any lights in the main house illuminate the casita. Simply adding blackout blind or a simple curtain within the boho theme would work. This really is a significant issue as it feels like a fishbowl when it would be so easy to fix it.
