The staff was lovely and Patty and Kathleen truly made my partner’s 40th birthday a memorable one. He and I had such a great time and the restaurant staff made my engagement one to remember. Thanks again to Priya for taking all the photos!!

Our 2 night stay here in June was beautiful. The property overlooked the coast. Our room was spotless and welcoming. The decor was soothing and we used the gas fireplace in the evening for ambiance. We also loved the deck and chairs with the ocean view. We went to breakfast at the onsite restaurant, which was delicious. All staff we encountered were very gracious. I would certainly come back again if we travel to Northern California in the future. Thanks so much!

All rooms have a great ocean view and a private deck or balcony.the attached photo was the view from our deck. Bed was extremely comfortable. Staff is excellent. And its pet friendly. The on-site restaurant (Terra Mar) was also great. We enjoyed it so much, we booked our 2027 4th of July weekend before we checked out. I highly recommend this property.

Fabulous stay/view as solo traveler! Clean, cozy, but slightly creaky/noisy plumbing and can hear neighbors moving around in next room. Great restaurant on site as well, but note it is exceptionally pricy - but that comes with good service/quality food out in Mendocino! :)

Albion is always a treat to stay in, especially considering the other near towns if you like to avoid crowds and sounds. Staff was great at check-in and i like that its so private that you don't really see anyone unless you need something and questions are answered immediately. Perfect setup for anyone trying to just chill and relax. I love that there wasn't a tv in the room and I was just looking out at the ocean instead. Fireplace was an added bonus for the right amount of ambiance! I have eaten at the restaurant, Terra Mar, a few times and when it was owned by the previous owners. It was good then and even better now. Will stay again!

These are lovely cottages with incredible ocean views, a short drive from downtown Mendocino. The on-site restaurant was excellent. We enjoyed breakfast there daily, and a wonderful dinner on Friday night. Our server, Cody, deserves special recognition. He was so personable and remembered everything we told him! He made our visit extra special. The only downside to our visit was that our fireplace wasn’t working. That would have made our visit perfect!

You are my new favorite place at the coast. I love the electric kettle. I love that there are no tv’s. Everything in the room works. And the restaurant is fantastic. To find all this in the most beautiful spot on earth is a gift. Thank you very much.

This place was absolutely wonderful. Staff was very helpful. Only thing we missed was a TV, BUT the view definitely makes up for it. Perfect coastal get away. We loved this place and will definitely be going back.

Our experience was all good. The grounds are maintained beautifully. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The room was excellent. The wait staff in the restaurant was excellent. I would definitely go back again

The SCP staff were really fantastic. My girlfriend and I booked a place at the Coast Lodge location. The place was great, and the ocean view was fantastic, but we didn't realize there aren't any trail/path options for walking, and we have an active dog. We asked if we could switch to the Farm location, and the staff went out of their way after hours to move us even though it was difficult because our reservation was through Expedia and not directly with them. They even upgraded us to the cottage location, which was wonderful, at no additional cost (it would have been much more than what we originally paid). If you value nearby trails and beach access without driving, or if you have a dog, go with the Farm location. If you're happy driving to the beach and just want to enjoy fantastic ocean views from the porch on the bluff, go with the Coast Lodge location. We will definitely stay with SCP again in the future.

Yes the rooms are older and not fully up to date maintained, but the views were spectacular and the place was clean and comfortable. The on site restaurant had a wonderful breakfast, and the staff were all very kind and helpful. We stayed in the base level Queen room (room 10 &11) and the views truly were out of this world. They also set up the rooms so nice so you have chairs to sit and enjoy the view even without a balcony.
