Amigo is a great spot! We stayed in the Velma Airstream which is clean, minimalist, and tastefully done. We never had to wait for a shared bath/shower and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The shared courtyard was nice to spend time under pines in hammocks. The location is right off of a main road and in an area that is a bit less walkable than we typically prefer but lots of good restaurants and quick access to downtown by car.

This place is perfect for your stay in Salida, Colorado. Clean, courteous, and centrally located. We were just passing through and stayed in The Francis Airstream. Slept 3 comfortably. Highly recommend and we will be back

This is a charming little motel that’s been updated and now presents one of the better values in Salida. Tidy, generally well kept, and has just the right amenities and a helpful staff to make your stay go smoothly.

This was our third stay at the Amigo over the last year, and we’ll continue to stay there when our travels take us through Salida. The motel is very clean and comfortable, and we always feel safe there. It is easy walking distance to a great brewery and Mexican restaurant (as well as other places worth going to, like the Salida Museum), but it’s a bit farther to the downtown area. You can definitely walk it, but we tend to drive and park a little closer. Staff members are always friendly and helpful, but do be aware that the front desk is not always staffed, so do pay attention to those check in hours and breakfast hours. The breakfast is a nice grab and go assortment of granola bars, oatmeal, tea, and good coffee. They also have chilled water available (free in the office when it is staffed). The decor is fun and funky and guests tend to be friendly, creating a nice environment. The Amigo will continue to be our first choice of a place to stay in Salida.

The staff is very welcoming and helpful. (We couldn’t figure out the tv. And we didn’t hesitate to ask because he was so nice. Forgive me for not knowing his name.) The room had fun decor. Modern but not fussy. The bed was comfortable. It was quiet. Coffee and good pastries in the morning. We’d stay there again! R&H

I stayed in the "mini" Airstream named PeeWee. The camper pictures differed somewhat from the actual camper, as it not decorated and . . very minimal, but it was a wonder nice stay overall. The grounds are lovely. Pine trees and a private deck for morning coffee or evening drink. Hot tub, cute common areas. Coffee in morning is great. Centrally located spaces. Lots very nice Downtowns. 6

A a nice quaint travel stop. My reservation was bit confusing and I got booked into the airstream but the staff was kind and helpful and got me a different room that fit my needs better. Very clean, The property itself was well kept in a 1950s theme. Right off the main road but not noisey. It isn't walking distance to downtown but would recommend.
