The room is very nice. They have large ceiling fans and AC. There is a large frig and a kitchen area to cook meals. FYI there is no TV. The view from the balcony of the ocean is amazing. There is a very nice sitting area on the balcony to enjoy the ocean and fresh air. The beach is amazing and the water is warm. There is a large coral reef to snorkel and tons of fish to see. The hotel has beach chairs, umbrellas and other stuff you can use for free. The only negatives is there is very limited parking and the parking isn't near the rooms for loading and unloading of bags. There is no elevators so if your on the 2nd floor you are hauling your stuff upstairs. The beach gets very crowded not just from people at the hotel but the locals like that beach and they park along the street outside and walk in to use the beach. So go early put your stuff out and go back eat breakfast and then go to the beach and you have your perfect spot , if you use an umbrella weigh it down because it gets very windy there.

We loved the cleanliness, location, and overall vibe of the hotel. Super cute and right on the beach. Appreciate that they have free parking for guests, and that they are so friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay again.

Enjoyed our stay and proximity to the beach. Beautiful property and gardens! Pool area was also nice. The staff were great, very accommodating. The only issue is lack of parking depending on the time of day.

The Mauian is amazing. Once you walk in - you are in the botanical garden. The hotel and our room was literally on the beach which was beautiful. Great location, cozy hotel, very well maintained - that’s how I imagined Hawaii. Thumbs up!

Our flight was very delayed so we did not arrive until close to midnight and although we had our unit number and door code the security guard on duty went out of his way to be helpful. He welcomed us and led us with a flashlight to our unit and unlocked the door. In the morning there was a wonderful complimentary light breakfast and the grounds were absolutely beautiful. Highly recommend!

We came to Maui on business this time, and I will say that if you have to work, I can think of no office with a better view; although if you require WiFi, I learned that the ocean view rooms do not have a strong internet connection for large uploads. I was thankful to be able to take my laptop to the hospitality room and do everything I needed to do. If you are looking for a property that offers onsite activities like waterslides, luaus, shopping and crowds- this is not it. But, we have been staying at The Mauian on Napili Bay for vacation for years. We went there on our honeymoon, came back to renew our vows on that beach with out adult children for our 30th anniversary- 5 years ago. The Mauian is a great place to unplug and enjoy peace. It's the picturesque scenery of the beach with the sound of the calm waves to fall asleep to, that keep us coming back. We choose the incredible sunset views, rather than having a TV in the room, and great snorkeling on the reef instead of the crowded activities offered by other resorts. You are still close enough to drive to all those activities without being in the middle of them. Every time we leave The Mauian, we begin planning to come back. It always feels like coming back home.

We were pleasantly surprised! The grounds were beautiful and well maintained and it was steps away from a wonderful sandy beach! The hotel provided beach towels, beach chairs and even had a drying rack on the lanai to try our swimsuits and towels. To rooms were clean and there was air conditioning!!! The only downside... there was bath soap, shampoo and conditioner but no little amenities like shower caps and moisturizers but everything else made up for it. Would definitely go here again!!!

My girlfriend and I had a great time at the Mauian, even though it was just one night. Very kind and helpful staff and speedy check-in. The overall property is relatively small, and you feel like you have your own little beach condo instead of a hotel room. I loved being able to walk right into the room from the garden area. Lovely location on Napili Bay, where you can enjoy the nice calm water and good sunsets. Also Sea House is just 3 minutes away down the beach, awesome restaurant with amazing food and views. Room itself was great too! Very comfy bed, nice and firm foamy feel. And for once in my life, I was given a hotel pillow that wasn't made of printer paper. Very nice. Would definitely stay again!

The best kept secret in Western Maui and maybe the whole island. Small, quiet boutique motel with a perfect view of the ocean and other islands. Centrally located if you want to go to Kaanapali and Kapalua. Clean rooms, amazing view of the beach and ocean from your balcony. Staff is great. Can't wait to book our next trip with them in 2027.

We love this property, and it was not our first stay. Location is one of the primary assets, but the aloha spirit of the staff is an asset as well. The beds are comfy, the AC is effective, and the cleaning staff is meticulous. We will happily stay here again. The wifi strength varied depending on which building we were in, building A had the best. Otherwise, another great stay.
