First time here. I will stay again. Very friendly owner helped get me settled in. Thanks, Eric! Not a fancy setting, but very clean and very comfortable. I wasn’t there when the restaurant was open so can’t review it. Good casual setting. Exactly what you want in a quiet cottage stay.

They are cute little cottages on Long Lake north of Alpena. Very clean and friendly! Nothing fancy just simple way of life. You can bring your boat and dock it, fish and/or have a bonfire. 🔥

Great breakfast for purchase. Beds small and uncomfortable. Not a great check in process because hotels.com did not share email info but the lady upon entering the building was unaccommodating

Great location for our needs. Onsite restaurant for breakfast was excellent. Room was clean, access to the lake was a nice plus. Quiet, and peaceful.

Steve was great. There was a problem with our reserved room and we were contacted by the management to inform us prior to our arrival. They promised to make the inconvenience up to us on a future trip. I will post a full review then.

A hidden gold mine. Beautiful area. Quiet. The pet friendly cabins have an enclosed area for your pet. Easy to check in and check out. We will definitely return, it was central to going in any direction for points of interest. And the restaurant?! Absolutely amazing!

Room was clean and had was I needed. Nothing fancy but great room for the price. Easy to see from the lake and well marked on US 23. Boat ramp was located fairly close by and the grounds were well maintained even before peak season. Stephen was helpful in pointing out the area and gave me some Long Lake fishing tips.

The cabins are adorable, and very clean. Staff is super friendly, and accommodating. Looking forward to booking time in the Summer, to enjoy the beach on the property and the Restaurant. I liked the privacy, and serenity taking my Mom break. Hoping to have my class reunion at The Parker, that would be a blast. Thank You The Parker! 😁

Nice, clean, and private cottage. Only sad part was we never were able to try the restaurant because they never plowed/opened it. Not a good spot for on-site dining during the winter. Waterfront was also snowed-in and not plowed so we never got a good look at that either.

The room was spacious and clean. There was a large fridge and there was AC, so important in this heat spell. The bathroom is small, the toilet was the smallest you could get in that space and the shower was stained. There was no breakfast. The restaurant is only open 4 days a week, and there is no restaurant open close by for breakfast or lunch. There were no staff on site.

We went at the end of winter so it was not busy and the restaurant was not open, our room was nice! I can see it being so fun in the summer time!

Decor was good, bright colors, kitschy. Unfortunately the bathroom was not in good shape, backed up drain and mild. I sent the owner a note and he stated they are in the process of remodeling all the bathrooms. He also gave me a refund due to the poor condition, so good on him. Beautiful grounds right on the lake.
