A lovely stay at the White House Inn. Set above the bustling town with amazing views. I felt so at home with the friendly and knowledgable staff. I would go out of my way to stay here again. As a solo traveler I felt safe and well taken care of. Breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit and pastries. My room was updated, clean, and spacious. It was also very quiet and faced a beautiful garden overlook. If you are planning a visit to Wilmington or just passing through, you must stay here, and the bakery a stones throw away is so amazing!

Lovely old building, perched on a hilltop affording lovely views in all directions, with comfortable rooms and a great (if expensive) restaurant and nice continental breakfast for free.

Beautiful renovated mansion on the outskirts of town. Room was spacious, clean and modern. Breakfast was excellent. Only complaint is our room, #10, was above the mechanical system which shook the room and rattled the lamp on the nightstand next to the bed.

Our Junior Suite had a wonderful balcony view. We will return for further stays over a weekend as the restaurant and bar are not open on weekdays.

We only stopped by for a single night and got in late. The staff were amazing with late check in, the room was clean and obviously well taken care of. In the morning we were met with an unreal view. We are already planning on coming back here for multiple nights to enjoy the beauty.

We selected the Green Mountain Inn for its central location in VT. The staff were absolutely wonderful and helped us with several suggestions and ideas. This is a historic Inn so rooms have very little space. The staff showed us several very comfortable “living room” areas that were great. Breakfast was excellent as was the coffee.

We had 11 hotels in New England in our itinerary and this was my favourite. The attention to detail was unmatched the little key fobs on the room keys the quill for signing the visitors book the whole place had so many quirky details. Beautiful room and gorgeous bathroom with stone wall I shower. Sadly we missed the restaurant which only opens Friday and Saturday but there are lots of eateries at the bottom of the hill.
